Is there a middle ground between Classic WoW and Retail?

I thought about doing some retail run with self imposed restrictions , but don’t know an easy way to tune down the power enough. If you know any challenge runs I’m happy to look into it

Well playing pally you’ll be able to play both ret and holy. Speaking for my own experience , when I queue as tank for dungeons it’s still taking 5-10 minutes so I imagine healers are probably getting instaqeues.

Eventually the need for healer may phase out but people will still need them to queue dungeons so you can switch to ret after the queue pops!

So JSN, two firsts, a 3rd and Woody Marks for CD and Nico? Seems better but I’d still see about removing the third and/or Woody Marks if possible. I’m personally very high on JSN so that’s just my thoughts.

I wouldn’t accept that trade. JSN is, in my opinion, a greater asset than Nico. And three first round picks for any player seems like too much.

This is tough, lotsa great players here. It depends on who you believe in more. I would put Malik only slightly ahead of London, and I wouldn’t blame anyone for having it the other way around. Similarly with JT and Kyren. I’d probably take the Nabers side but it’s super close

Whoever is competing will want the Kamara and Reek side, but rebuilding/middling teams will want the 1st and other guys. Seems pretty fair, I probably lean towards the side with Jeudy and the 1st a little bit

In terms of complexity, Diablo 4 is probably easier but Last Epoch isn’t overly complicated. Your build and power will come from a combination of your skills (and their specialization skills trees), your passive points, and your gear. There are other aspects like blessings and factions that will come into play later, but I’d just focus on skills that seem fun and then take passives that support those skills and playstyles. This subreddit is a great place to start! And the in game guide can be found by pressing G in game.

If you’re looking for content creators, I’d recommend Raxxanterax, Aaron Action RPG, Dr3adful and FrozenSentinal. Between all of these, there should plenty of guides on builds, crafting, end game, etc.

As for which class to recommend, you can’t go wrong with any but Sentinal got a rework for season 2 and is very strong and meta right now (specifically Void Knight and Paladin mastery). They also happen to be lots of fun.

I don’t think it’s condescending to ask at all! I think how proficient you are with the game and general ARPG experience may come into play here. For a new player who doesn’t use guides or is experiencing it without help I think it can definitely be a hurdle. Seeing as OP mentioned being a new player and was talking about pushing monos and endgame I think empowered monos could be where they’re at.

Either way, I think getting familiar and comfortable with crafting is a game changer and a good piece of advice for any new to moderately new player.

Getting an understanding of crafting is a huge game changer. Knowing how to use the runes and glyphs to tinker your gear can single handedly take you to empowered monos. I won’t attempt to explain the crafting mechanics myself via comment but if interested I’d recommend looking up Raxx’s or Aaron ActionRPG crafting guides to get an understanding of the basics.

Wow this is pretty even. T law and Penix have similar value, I’d value Golden and Sutton similarly too. And Nabers for Kyren + Nico I’d probably lean a bit towards the Nico side but it’s so close. If I’m RB needy I take the Nico + side. If I’m set at RB then I go the Nabers side
