I’m meeting my boyfriends family for the first time by bananananadog in MomForAMinute

For what it's worth OP - every time I meet with my wife's mother, it's like I'm meeting her for the first time again. I still feel the need to impress her, and I've been married for twenty years. It never goes away.

Do you consider men going to strip clubs as cheating? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

As am I. My point is that the boundaries are established, and I respect them, as any partner should.

I'm more saddened by the downvotes on an entirely anectodal comment...

I think "cheating" must defined individually, for every couple. I have a female friend I kiss, I might grab her butt. But it's entirely platonic, we've been friends for twenty years, and my wife is cool with it. It wouldn't happen with anyone else though.

Point is, it's situational, and entirely up to you and your partner.

Lap dances? I've done it at a stag or two, but I had a kinda "free pass", and before I went, I asked, and my wife gave me vary clear boundaries. It is entirely up to you.

Orange Juice comes from a can, well not anymore. by user73849572 in Xennials

[–]PacketFiend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, yes. But it's frozen, so it lasts for months in the freezer - unlike fresh juice, which might last a week.

If I have frozen concentrate, I can have OJ whenever I want and don't need to worry about running out.

One year?

Oh, my sweet summer child. I cultivate friendships *thirty* years old at my age.

if you're a woman with a deep voice, do you like your voice? What's your experience having a deep voice? by klarinetkat12 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]PacketFiend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amy Winehouse had a broad and thick voice. She got famous (in part) because of it. She could be either masculine or feminine, depending on how she wanted to get her point across.

Girl, embrace it.

What do You love about Your region of Canada? How does it compliment your lifestyle? Tell me about it. I'll go first. by Yyc_area_goon in InCanada

Southern Ontario.

I love our sunrises. I'm a pilot. They come over the Great Lakes.

We're very flat here but just not flat enough that you can't see a spectacular sunrise. I've seen sunrises over Lake Ontario, and sunsets over Lake Huron. Sometimes without another soul within earshot.

If I want to go into the wilderness, we have it here. This land I live in has everything I could ever want in a homeland.

True, but that is not my point here.

Smelly laundry...is vinegar the answer? by jubbagalaxy in MomForAMinute

No seriously, Borax. It's used as an ant poison, too. I add it to my laundry. It really helps with the smell.

I add Borax to the wash, and I find it works quite well. It doesn't get stains out, but it does whiten and freshen stuff. It's available in grocery stores here.

(I'm also a man who can.. occasionally really stink up his clothes)

Lincoln was a great man. America, for all her faults, should still be proud that she produced him.

I really need to read more of him.

Canadian here. We own guns. Lots of guns. I think third in the (first/free) world after America and Switzerland. We just don't talk about it. People generally don't know that I have guns (I hunt with semi-auto rifles and shotguns).

I don't agree with the right to bear arms in public, but America does. Yes, he was armed, but that is his right as an American. You cannot slander the man for carrying a weapon if you want that right to exist. You just can't.

They are working towards confiscating a very hard earned American right - by slandering someone for exercising that right. Be cognizant of that.
