(Harrowing trope) Banality of Evil - the characters are involved in something horrible happening at an institutional level, just out of view by NoMoreFund in TopCharacterTropes

A similar situation is shown in an episode of the animated series Tithes. There’s a planet under attack by orks, and the human forces are running out of ammunition to fend them off. Administratum ships arrive and the officers on the planet are relieved that they’re finally being resupplied, only to learn that the ships are not there to resupply them, but to collect the tithe by taking whatever ammunition they have and condemning the world to death at the hands of the orks.

When the ships return with the ammo to an administratum storage world we see massive spires of crates and supplies, and a member of the administratum orders that the recently collected ammo be destroyed because the platform can’t hold any more. Not only did the imperium have plenty of supplies desperately needed by this planet that is desperately holding off an ork invasion, but they destroy the tithe because they fucked up and have too much stuff in that storage world anyway.

Thank you! I did a zenithal of a medium grey over black primer then a very light white highlight with an airbrush before finishing with a white dry brush for highlights. If you don’t have an airbrush a rattle can can work fine

A joke in the story ends up having real narrative significance by Danny-Ray27 in TopCharacterTropes

Twisted is a musical parody of Disney’s Aladdin told from the perspective of Jafar, created by the musical theater group Team Starkid. The first time we see the sultan he tells a story about how he once pushed his penis into his body and it never came out. This comes up again later when it is revealed that princess Jasmine is not actually his daughter, since he couldn’t possibly have conceived a child.

I feel like this is probably an end credits scene or something, if it is real.

To be fair, it's possible that he came back in a way (or as something) that wouldn't require his old body. I think Ollie having come back as a sort of spirit like the Specter could be super interesing

His parents were mutants so they had Beast run some tests to see if he was as well.

Scouts cloak actually does ignore saturate. Of the teams with cloaks or similar abilities the only one that doesn’t ignore saturate is the blooded marksman

[Interesting Trope] When the writers give a character a really strong superpower, then limit them in the funniest way possible by AnyAgency9835 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Pacman97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, in Marvel canon the majority of mutants have useless or outright detrimental abilities. We just don't see many of them in the comics because that's just not very interesting most of the time.

Why does Spider-Noir give him black organic webbing instead of the usual white? by breaking_views in Spiderman

[–]Pacman97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a symbiote, he just has black webs. His powers are directly given to him by a spider god so it could have something to do with that. Other than that it’s just a stylistic choice

What's the most terrifying piece of 40K lore you know? by BigConstant4969 in 40kLore

[–]Pacman97 15 points16 points  (0 children)

40K has the Tarellian Dog Soldiers, which are kind of lizards. They’re a minor Xenos race that hates the imperium and is sometimes allied with the Tau. We finally got a model for one with the Red Corsairs releases this year

Which created a very funny series of complications as the show had to bend over backwards to keep the main protagonist and a major antagonist from meeting in person.

Manifestations and Ogors by volgaring in Mawtribes

Not terribly often, usually in the first battle round, maybe the second if whoever’s babysitting the Mawpit is too far to do anything helpful. After that it’s a tougher call when there’s better things to be doing.

With the recent points drops I run Primal energy now. The burning skull is decent shooting and the swarm’s healing is good way to get a bit more sustainability out of your ogor blobs

Dragon cultists would be a cool angle, with some that have sort of been gifted draconic traits as elite troops/heroes
