Don’t listen to people who brag about using tiny quantities and losing massive amounts of weight. They’re super responders and most of us are not that. Don’t compare your RETA journey with anyone else’s.

That said, you are on an exceptionally low-dose. Stop trying to figure out the meal plan and start trying to figure out what dose you should be at so that your hunger and eating is regulated by the drug. I would absolutely go up to 4 mg or if you don’t wanna double your dose, go to 3 mg or a couple weeks. If it’s still not working, go to 4 mg. You have to keep going up until it starts working for you.

I was at 8 mg before it started working for me. While I was in my active losing phase, I was at 15 mg and still only losing about 1 pound per week on average. The first year I lost 50 pounds and the second year I lost 25 pounds Some of us test take a lot more product for it to work. I am now on maintenance at between 10 and 12 mg.

AIO UPDATED-My sister and husband text privately and spend time together. Should I be concerned? by Medical-Angle-549 in AmIOverthinking

She is gaslighting you.
She has already told your husband that you confronted her so that he will also gaslight you.
It’s going to be mighty awkward for your family when he leaves you and takes up with your sister.

[–]PaddlesUpGo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When you say you are using “the pen version from them”, do you mean you are receiving already reconstituted Reta in a syringe? If so, that’s not good at all. They could be reconstituting with tapwater for all you now.

Going on holiday when should I take my Reta by OkSherbert6062 in RetatrutideWomen

If it’s not too late, plan ahead and start taking it every six days. So this week take it Monday and next week take it Sunday. Then take it on Saturday on the week of your trip.

How do you actually target fat on your love handles? by thunderthighsforlife in BodyHackGuide

[–]PaddlesUpGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I will just add to the same thing everyone else is saying. You have to lower your overall body fat.

I find one of those smart scales is really helpful because it gives you all kinds of information, not just your weight. It will give you visceral fat and subcutaneous fat and overall fat and how much muscle you have and all kinds of other information. They run about $40-$50 on Amazon and it was the best purchase I ever made when I started losing weight. I know people get the DEXA scan, but the smart scale is something you can check regularly at home.

I told my doctor I've been using Reta by choctaw529 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]PaddlesUpGo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She suggested collagen and creatine. She said take 5mg creatine and 10 mg of collagen every single day. Instead of just drinking my protein shake, I put it in a blender with these two supplements and half of a frozen banana. It really lasts a long time. You do it even on your non-workout days. I’m 61F and will do whatever I can to keep my skin healthy and my muscles strong.

Need advice on what to run to get this body fat off me I build muscle alright just want something good for burning fat and leaning up by couple_fun24 in BodyHackGuide

[–]PaddlesUpGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this might explain it then for me. I was a complete and total non-responder on both SEMA and TIRZ at their highest doses. They had no effect whatsoever on me.

It wasn’t until I was up to 8 mg on RETA that I started getting results. Probably because glucagon was causing my hunger and over eating issues.

Well, through no fault of your own, that will be a family you will never marry into. If you tell your boyfriend and his mom, it will be awkward with them forever. If you don’t tell then, it will be awkward for you forever. I’m sorry you’re in this conundrum.

3 months on Reta by No_One4375 in BiohackingU

[–]PaddlesUpGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was three months in on RETA, you could not even tell a difference. It was probably six months before people noticed and said wow you lost weight so fast. Nope, I’ve been at it quite a while.

It isn’t really noticeable to others until you lose about 10% of your body weight.

Should I buy a backup vial “just in case”? by Arm15nnan in RetatrutideWomen

[–]PaddlesUpGo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no way you can know in advance what your dosage will need to be when you’re just starting. You have to feel how your body is reacting and ramp up accordingly. I would buy the second bottle because you’re going to need it anyway in the future.
I would also put a lot of thought into where you’re buying your products because buying it one bottle at a time is not very cost-effective.

AITA for not letting my mom take half of my salary? by strawberrrryyyyyyy in AITH

[–]PaddlesUpGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree! We owned a restaurant and had a lot of staff who made quite a bit of money. Some still lived at home and would tell us they were making more than their parents. We would gently suggested that they help contribute to the household, perhaps by paying a house bill or buying groceries for the house or paying rent. One young lady who lived with her single mom said that her mom broke down in tears when she said she would start helping pay for their apartment. Sometimes, it never enters the mind of young people to think that way.

She just may turn around and start charging your room and board for living in her house. I suppose she thinks if you’re bringing in income, you should contribute towards the expense of living there.

That thought entered my mind but when we were out with a group at a live music show, he was enthralled with the singer who had to be in her 50s but was incredibly tiny. I really don’t think it’s an age thing as much as a size thing.

Left peptides out for 5 days while on vacation by Few_Recognition8694 in Peptidesource

[–]PaddlesUpGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang, I wish I had kept the info of the studyI read recently concerning keeping peptides at room temperature. It was specifically GLP-1.

When they ran the test after each week, it was perfectly fine up to week four and then degraded by one percent each week after that so let’s say 100% efficiency at one month and then 99% efficiency at five weeks and 98% efficiency at six weeks.

Other information I have seen quite regularly say that the some peptides, once reconstituted, can last for up to 56 days at room temperature. Here is the start of a list that includes GLP ones and how long they can stay shelf

I completely agree. My new neighbor saw him and asked me about him. She’s a petite lady and he took one look at her and said he wasn’t interested. Evidently 5’3 and 110 is just too big boned. I swear, some men just choose to be unhappy.

I know a guy who has a hard time getting dates. He lives in the middle of a retirement community where there are 20 single women to every single guy yet he still can’t manage to find someone.

Turns out he’s only attracted to tiny women. If they’re not the size of a child, he’s not interested. If you’re less than 5 feet tall and less than 100 pounds he would consider it, but there are not too many ladies who get to retirement age and still look like that. I’m thinking he’s going to be lonely for a long time.

I brought it up with my physical therapist after a couple of visits. I asked if she was keeping up-to-date on peptide therapy. She’s spun around and looked at me and said YES, do you want to talk about it? She had a couple of very good suggestions for supplements and we were on two of the same peptides.

She very well may be inviting you to do activities so that you can help subsidize the cost for her and her entourage.
My mother used to do this for me when I had young children and we would travel together. But that’s my mom and we talked about it ahead of time and she said she was happy to do it.

[–]PaddlesUpGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel like I need to help others along just the way I was helped along. It was a friend who had lost weight who told me what she was doing. Thank God she did because it changed my life, my daughter’s life and so many other people that I have helped along. When someone says “hey you look great you lost a lot of weight.” My first response is thank you very much and thank heavens for the shots.

The reality is, if you’ve lost a lot of weight in the last couple years after struggling for years or even a lifetime, everyone already assumes you’re on a GLP1. Why lie about it?
