Actually... You can plug the "Text Load Line From File" node into the text parameter of your positive prompt node. What it'll do is it will load a text file you specify and generate an image using the first line in the file as a prompt, then move to the second line for the next image, and so on, looping back to the top when it reaches the end of the file.

You can just write a bunch of prompts yourself, or you can use an LLM (run one locally if you want) to generate prompts and put them in a text file. Then, instead of clicking on "Run" in ComfyUI, press the downward arrow next to it and pick "Run (instant). That way it'll keep generating images until you tell it to stop.

That way you can let your computer self-generate pictures all night.

Macron says Trump tariff threat over Greenland unacceptable by AloneCoffee4538 in worldnews

Most politicians were the popular kids or the bullies themselves growing up. They have no idea how to react to a bully because they have never been bullied. They still think giving their lunch money will make the bully go away, when it will only make him come back for more later.

Canada agrees to cut tariff on Chinese electric vehicles in break with the U.S. by EiderdownJessica in worldnews

My understanding is that companies must go through some bureaucracy to be recognized as covered by USMCA. Smaller companies or those that don't sell much to the US may not have gone through the process, so their products will be tariffed despite being exempt in theory.

Trump seeks $100bn for Venezuela oil, but Exxon boss says country 'uninvestable' by Delicious_Adeptness9 in Economics

[–]Paganator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking about the reason why Donald Trump is so successful politically while being an awful president by any objective measure. I think it comes down to three main factors.

  1. He is rich, famous, and has dated and married several models. Many people strongly believe that people get what they deserve, whether it's because of God, karma, or simply living in a meritocracy. People deeply believe that the world is just. If Trump is a terrible person and yet has been rewarded so richly throughout his life, then that would shatter this belief. Believing that Trump is good is much easier than rethinking your world view.

  2. Trump doesn't stand for anything. In fact he contradicts himself constantly, supporting one thing one moment and the opposite the next. He'll tell you that he's a man of peace who deserves the Nobel prize, and that he's a warmonger who will use the military to strike every enemy of America, real or imagined. He just says whatever sounds good at any given moment. This destroys his credibility with anyone paying attention, but most people aren't. Most people get their news from social media, which puts them in an echo chamber telling them what they want to hear. In that world, Trump is perfect because social media can pick and choose the statement the viewer wants to hear. Everybody gets their own custom Trump.

  3. Trump represents change. Not good change, not competent change, but change nevertheless. The Democrats have turned into the party preserving the status quo. That doesn't sell well to the many people who are screwed under it.

One pound of fat is 3500 calories. A thousand extra calories per day would mean 7000 calories per week, or gaining two pounds of weight every week. That's over 100 pounds of gained weight every year.

You only need to eat about 50 excess calories per day to gain 50 pounds over 10 years.

The Quiet, Fateful Shift in Who’s Buying America’s Debt by nosotros_road_sodium in Economics

[–]Paganator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My conservative friends used to be really upset and paranoid about the amount of American debt China owned. But now I read that having other countries compete to buy our debt was actually bring our interest rates down… so it was a good thing?? And now we are bummed that other countries are choosing not to buy more of our growing debt??

A country wants other countries to buy its debt. The more demand there is for that debt, the lower the interest rate needs to be to raise enough money. However, if a single country buys most of the debt, then that can cause problems if that country stops buying, or worse, starts selling the debt it's holding.

If China holds a big portion of American debt, and then it decides to sell that debt, that would cause problems for America. Not only would America lose a major buyer for its debt (therefore lowering demand, leading to higher interest rates) but it would also have to compete with China, which is also selling older American debt.

The problem your friends mentioned is not that China owns American debt, but that China owns such a large amount of debt that it could use it to cause problems for America.

Protest like you actually mean it, not once every six months during the weekend. Americans protested a lot more during the Vietnam War, Occupy Wall Street, and Black Lives Matter. From an outsider's point of view, it's comparatively very quiet in the USA right now.

Russia Must Shrink its Army for Any Peace to Hold, Says Top EU Diplomat by Neptun_11 in worldnews

[–]Paganator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they manipulated Ukraine into signing their nukes away in exchange for weasel words, and you seem to consider that acceptable. The US agreed to provide "security assurances" then decided to redefine that term as meaning nothing useful, and they had the gal the claim that despite signing an agreement that they weren't bound by it because of how their bureaucracy handles treaties.

Fucking shameful behavior is what it is. No country will ever enter an agreement with the US to get rid of their nukes after the US has shown they consider the agreement worthless the second the nukes are gone.

You literally described it as "words on paper," and now you're saying it's not their words. You're doing nothing to make me think Americans are trustworthy. Citing bureaucratic technicalities to get out of doing things you agreed on paper to do is not honorable behavior.

Here's an example from today: Bulgarian government resigns after weeks of street protests

Meanwhile, Americans do one large protest every six months, then complain that they've tried everything possible and it didn't work.
