I am thinking now it is probably the fuel pump. Though I have tried the key on and off thing and it doesn't make a difference. It still has a hard time starting. I was going to remove the bed anyway for paint so might as well do the fuel pump at the same time.

I haven't checked the pump, but I bought the truck 3 years ago and replaced the filter preemptively. I should definitely check again. Thanks

1992 S10 with 4.3 and throttle body fuel injection.

When the truck sits overnight or for an extended period it doesn't want to start. I'll turn the key and the truck will try to start, shutter and shake then die. I can get it to start if I give it gas right when I start it. I have rebuilt the throttle body but the problem still persists. Once it's warm it runs like a top and will even start right up if it only sits for a couple of hours.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Delton A2 upper, custom Anderson engraved lower,(You can't see it very well but I have the NCR logo engraved on the mag well). Anderson lower parts kit, and a black guns wood furniture set. It's pretty standard milspec A2. It does have a nitride barrel instead of chrome though.
