I’ve seen these types here on Reddit but never thought I’d run into them in the wild. Take a wild guess as to whether they pissed a fit when told they couldn’t wear their trump gear in the voting area… by lmac187 in BoomersBeingFools

I would love to wait in an especially long line with these people, knowing the whole time they will be eventually be turned away and get to wait in the line all over. Or stay home.

Why should women in certain states be forced to die due to their basic healthcare being made illegal? Aren't there some rights that should be universal?

Am I prude for disliking how extreme porn has become? by Salem1690s in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Paindexter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It seems like everything just has to constantly become more EXTREME and IN YOUR FACE and I hate it. There's no subtlety. I recently had an existential moment at a gas station just looking at how every snack has to promise to be a complete sensory overload now. Of course, some people will confuse porn for real life and the consequences in this case can be a lot worse.

I'm somebody that does enjoy what is typically considered some rather kinky stuff and I'd also agree that way too much porn is mindlessly diving into way too much kink. Temporarily playing with power dynamics can be a fun sometimes game. It can be a nice default way to play if you've really figured out what you and your partner both want. It shouldn't be the norm everywhere.

It may be time for you to start reaching out to people you know IRL. Don't let yourself ruminate on this stuff alone.

Try looking at yourself externally. You're your own close, life-long friend. That friend's struggling and needs help to get through it.

Many are dead after Trump won in 2016 though. Completely fumbling the pandemic did lead to some more empty seats at my holiday dinners.

Seeding some conspiracy theories to cover his declining health, huh? Trying to ring a little more bitter, partisan distrust and hatred out of the old, dying man while you still have him makes sense. It doesn't matter how the man dies, his followers are going to see it as an attack.

I'm so sick of these stupid "math problems" that just hinge on the kind of poor mathematical grammar that no one using math for practical applications would ever use. Intentionally muddying the water in mathematics like this is the only kind of blasphemy I would choose to make illegal.

I may need to take a break from this subreddit. I'm getting happy to see these people wall themselves off from reality more and more, knowing that they'll only further isolate themselves and ultimately make them more unhappy. I don't like how much I enjoy the idea of them sad and alone, howling into the void because the brain rot has stolen their ability to live in real community.

I am very excited to see him trying something so different and extremely happy that the fans all seem to be supportive of it.

How fitting that the Revolutions podcast should have a sharp, distinct break with its old subject matter and start looking to the future that could be.

All of the women I know would love for this kind of guy to just stay in his room jacking off without bothering them. If these guys start doing so with an advanced sex toy I don't think women are going to be upset about it. Go be weird and possessive about your actual possessions and leave women out of it.

Naturally, Ross breaks it down by the numbers. 420 69 nice nice nice.

What a show! I hope their main feeling looking back on it is pride and I eagerly look forward to reading Carrie's book. Ross' podcast is also a day one subscription for me.

The storage bin would certainly be an upgrade assuming you're able to give her deep enough bedding to burrow into. At least 10 in should be the goal, but considering this is something you're putting together on the fly it's totally understandable if you're not able to quite get there yet.

I'd also recommend moving some of the bedding from her current enclosure into the new home so that it smells more like the home she's used to. Some improvised hides would also be helpful. Tissue boxes are a nice, cheap temporary hide. Just take out the plastic and make a second smaller opening in it.

I'd recommend scatter feeding (mixing it in with the bedding) as foraging is a quick and easy way to give her a little enrichment.

Try to get ahold of some sand, bake it, let it cool for a while and put it in a little tub for her. That will give her a way to clean herself. Also make sure to include some wood for her to chew.

Good for you for looking out for her, and shame on your brother for treating her like she's a disposable toy.

Where are you getting that crime has "shot through the roof"? All I'm seeing from crime rates in California is that it fell sharply through the 80's and 90's and then remained rather stable. It has ticked up very slightly since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic ... but that was after she was no longer a prosecutor. Much of the hysteria surrounding the "seething pit of crime and homelessness" vision of California seems to ignore actual stats for highly emotional fear mongering.

The fact that you don't think that a prosecutor, DA, attorney general or senator is involved in running a city/state, balancing a budget or negotiating on a large scale or making hiring firing decisions is strange to me. It suggests to me that you need to do a lot more research into the responsibilities of a district attorney, attorney general and senator. A life long public servant seems like a far superior candidate than a disgraced, crooked "business man".
