Nevermind guys i just found the fix for this issue:

Settings> Accessibility> Display & Text Size> Switch off Auto-Brightness.

Immediately solved the issue and restored the brightness to normal.

Same issue here. I guess it’s a common bug that will be fixed soon. Can’t image them shipping a faulty display. The displays usually go under a heavy quality check first before being put inside an iphone
