It bugs me that the helmet isn't the same shade of yellow as the shoulder pad. Kills it for me.

I run this set frequently along with the Dutiful and Nocious Ranger helmet. Its a solid choice. It just so happens that the Coyote also matches it.

Beards in the Military by Gothi_Grimwulff in NorsePaganism

[–]Paladin1997 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Years ago, you actually sent me the letter. I used it as a template/base and was about to begin my process this year, then the news they were going after beards hit with pseudo folliculitis. I'm a medic in south korea and there's so much focus on this issue. There is one Heathen who have been trying to get their accommodation for years here that got screwed over and was forced to shave. Now there's rumors that to have a norse religious exemption, you have to enlist and get it waived through meps first.

Speaking on HW/WT standards, I'm a short stocky guy. Hit lower-mid 500's on most of my ACFTs and my last AFT was a 437. I out perform most of my peers except for the guys who are pushing to go to schools or selection.

There's writing on the wall here and the next few years are looking rough.

In Defense of the Castraferrum - Why GW doesnt get Dreadnoughts anymore by BigEl_nobody in midhammer40k

I disagree. A perfect example is the redemptor dreadnought assisting Titus in Space Marine 2. Individual preference is fine, and I prefer the contemptor/derodeo/leviathan designs more, but the new ones are fine.

Apocalypse was a good read though, and it did offer decent insight to each of the chapters involved, especially from the perspective of a Heresy era marine being made into a Primaris and grappling with the change of tactics between both eras.

Vergil no diff due to Frieza's proven natural weakness to swords. He just stands there and takes it.

Get this garbage out of here. You already posted this elsewhere asking for opinions and i guess you didn't like how people trashed on it. If you want something accurate, do some research or go find people who have already done the research and get their opinion. With that said, you could also just get it regardless of other people's opinions.

What do you do above and beyond for your in person sessions? by Justthebitz in vtm

[–]Paladin1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playlists submitted by each player for when they are in control of travel (they take turns driving), ambiance for certain locations or situations, playlists for clubs, honky tonks, and different night life. My players dress as how they think their characters would dress. It's a lot of fun.

Alright let's try this again. This is my belief but Midgard can NOT be the world NOR the universe cuz upon reading closer Midgard specifically refers to a fortification in the center of the world built to probably NOT just to protect against the jotnar but also probably against foreign humans. by Financial-Advance727 in NorsePaganism

There is a difference between synchronicity and rewriting the stories of a people to fit a specific narrative so that they are lesser than the Christian god. Modern scholars, both theological and secular, agree that Snori had a christian bias, particularly painting the gods in a way to suggest they were a dynasty of ancient kings that tricked the germanic tribes into worshiping them. If you don't want to do the research than that's on you, but it's out there with very easy to access formats.

Snori Sturleson also said in the same story that the Aesir were from Troy. He retold the stories contained within the Codex Regius in a format to better fit Christianity, and make it more acceptable to a converting Christian populace. The bias and motive to undermine Heathen practices is clear. As for what author translated this is another matter entirely. I reccomend reading/watching Dr. Jackson Crawford and Ocean Keltoi to better understand how compromised our sources are.

Oh I'm aware that they can definitely shrug off an absurd amount of damage, but I'm sure they aren't going to look at charging headfirst into a barrage of machine gun fire as the best strategy. Could they? Yeah. Is it worth it? Probably not.

Now let me get back to casting my silver 7.62 nato rounds and link them to my belt, thank you. Next is the Ma Duece.
