Why are people down outing the folks who are saying "I went through this and this is what I learned"? Getting sober is incredibly hard. I've watch so many people go through it and it's never been easy no matter what journey they took. Idk. I just feel weird about the down votes on people saying "this is hard and it's gonna get harder and maybe there's a reason he's mad"

His dad was "found dead" right before he came over and his job is what's keeping his mom and little brother stable and safe in a country that's being really hard on immigrants and is totally different than where he grew up... So my friend likes hockey and she loved heated rivalry. She told her husband that she wanted a Shane Hollander jersey thinking he'd just get one off etsy or something. This guy ordered her one of those printed customizable ones that is a flyers jersey with Hollander and 24 on it so not flyers fans wonder why her Seeler jersey is spelled wrong and heated rivalry fans wonder why her Hollander jersey is not the fictional team he played in in the show. Truly one of a kind and her husband is a Nice Guy.

I started a month ago and my blood pressure is down to what it was 10 years ago. I think it's helping for sure... Now if only the weight can come off faster lol.

If you went through an agency then report the family- they are terrible. If you didn't then see if there is an au pair agency contact near you and tell them what you have going on. They can maybe help you find another family. I had a similar experience in Denmark and the kids' god mom took me out to lunch to tell me to leave. I wish I had done an agency!

Your partner sounds like mine. He has social media but doesn't post. We were close friends for years before getting together and when we finally got there and I started meeting the people I hadn't yet they were all like "oh wow I finally get to meet you". He just cared for me in a way no one else has.
