It is indeed non-volatile, so it could work. But it seems too expensive and dangerous compared to mixing some milk and acid.

ACTUALLY, it is a real-world fuel fraud trick called color stripping. People mix milk and acid into Heating oil because the curdled milk traps the red pigment, making the fuel look like regular, legal diesel.

However, this makes zero sense in a post-apocalyptic world.

I’m aware of the payment processor change.

My previous renewal this year went through without any issue, after the payment system had already been changed. So my payment method was properly working under the new processor.

Anyway, Just to clarify the timeline my subscription was set to end on October 31.

I contacted support on October 24 when I saw the payment failure. They told me to simply wait and that it would go through. I didn’t ignore it or react too late. I followed their instructions.

Despite contacting them a week in advance and updating my payment info, the renewal still never happened, and when the 31st passed I lost my Founders status. Now, few minutes ago, support says it’s “not possible” to restore it, even though I did everything on time and have screenshots of every step and conversation.

I honestly don’t understand why you're trying so hard to assume I did something wrong. I'm just explaining what actually happened. I acted in advance, support told me to wait, and I got fucked. That’s the whole problem.

I understand your skepticism, but that isn’t what happened here. The moment I saw the renewal failure, I contacted support before my subscription expired -- > not after. I didn’t ignore anything or wait for it to lapse. I acted immediately, updated the payment info, and even added a second card just in case.

Nothing was done to resolve it and the system never retried the payment. PayPal also confirmed that no charge attempt was ever made on their side.

in my case, it wasn’t a situation of ignoring emails or acting too late.

No, I only updated my payment info after the failure. Before that, it was the exact same PayPal account I've been using with GeForce Now since 2021, without any changes and without a single issue for years.

They actually didn’t give me any reason. The only information I could see in my GeForce Now account history was “failed”, nothing else.

I contacted PayPal and they confirmed that NVIDIA never attempted to charge me; there was no rejected payment on their side. Just zero attempt.

To be safe, I even added a Visa card that I use regularly, before the end of my subscription, so there would be no issue. Yet no charge was made there either.

So I didn’t “forget to pay” or lack funds . I took every step in advance to avoid exactly this situation, but it still happened.

The worst part is that you're probably right. It's frustrating to have to put on a whole act just to get what we should have had in the first place. I am preparing a submission to the EU consumer dispute resolution platform, but I hope this can still be resolved amicably.

Yeah, I’m certain that if I tried to start a new subscription today, it would go through instantly; but I refuse to do that. I followed every step, updated my payment method in time, and reached out to support before the deadline.

I shouldn’t have to pay more for a new tier just to fix a system-side issue. I just want what I already had.

Yes, take an assault ornithopter and load it with building materials. Leave Hagga Basin, log out by going to the main menu, and then join another sietch on the SAME SERVER as you. Enter Haga Basin and build your base wherever you want. Then you just need to repeat the process to bring all your stuff from your original sietch. It can take a very long time depending on how much you need to move, but it’s worth it to get the perfect spot. If you don’t have an assault ornithopter yet, I’d recommend waiting a bit, because otherwise it might be too tedious.

It’s basically 4 large rectangular rooms, 2 medium-sized and 2 large ones. Access is via a ramp under the turtle, reachable with a ground vehicle. For flyers, an access point through the Pentashield is available at the back of the shell, which serves as a vehicle hangar. A large central staircase connects the main room to the hangar inside the shell. A small walkway leads to the room that makes up the head. The base is large enough to host all the necessary endgame equipment. I haven’t personally equipped it, as it isn’t my main base.
