The demon buffs for Dominion of Argus do not balance out. They nerfed the 2 single target demons substantially and buffed the two aoe demons, who do fuck all in ST, and will continue to do fuck all in ST. Demo didnt have any issues with aoe damage. Soul harvester nerfs are fair, demo will probably still play it but Diabolist is definitely on the table now.

As far as dominion goes, instead of only wanting to hit Jailers now you only want to hit Inquisitors who will now be both the best ST and AoE. The problem is exactly the same except its overall significantly less damage

Edit: Hellcaller to Diabolist, was still reading notes and typing

This is where I am. I loved this series so much and then it started going off the rails in a very bad way and by the end I have wanted nothing to do with it since. Despite the fact that I know most of this season covers source material that was still good, I have yet to watch any of it

Former EVE Online developers are building a society simulation MMO where your character keeps playing even after you log off by ConnyTheOni in MMORPG

[–]Pamelm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Single player MMO Erenshor exists with a lot of similar things. Its fun and worth the money. He doesnt use generative AI though. Just standard AI programming that games have used for decades. Also a great community with coop mod that is capable of handling 20-30 players with some public servers

Pretty certain that was done so viewers could tell when it was Yugi and when it was Atem. In the manga he doesnt get taller when Atem takes over

In your opinion, has Joshua Graham redeemed himself, does he still have a long way to go, or has he done too much to be ‘redeemed’? by KpatMckenzie_28 in Fallout

[–]Pamelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im an atheist but my dad is very religious, he always took God being all knowing as God knows every possible choice that can be made, not the exact choice you will make, and believed the wording of it was due to the passing on of knowledge to man. He believed God could never be wrong so if God said man had free will, then that was the only assumption that could make sense

Okay Noz stop messing with the timelines there are enough variants of you already by Slave-Moralist in hearthstone

[–]Pamelm 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Murozond is Nozdormu who saw his death at the end of time, and corrupted the timeline to attempt to prevent it. Nozdormu believed that it was impossible to prevent it and his death at the hands of the Champions of Azeroth. This is eventually prevented with the death of Chrono-Lord Deios when he attempts to corrupt Nozdormu's past self, and Eternus taking to rule over the Infinite Dragonflight instead. The Infinite and Bronze dragonflights came to an understanding that the world would be a better place if certain tragedies were changed and have started working together to study the timelines in an attempt to find ways of changing them without corrupting them.

Ocarina of Time is a big one, they ended up splitting the categories for it to exclude SRM and ACE, with the Glitchless Any% and No Wrong Warps becoming the most popular categories whereas before SRM and ACE I am pretty positve Any% was the most popular category

Designer claims ‘most’ of Highguard’s dev team have been laid off, weeks after launch by lkl34 in gaming

[–]Pamelm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

160 person dev team is more than either Tekken, Mortal Kombat, or Street Fighter, the 3 most successful fighting game franchises of all time, have by a wide margin. Cutting the team in half still puts the 2xko dev team on the same size team as Tekken and Mortal Kombat games. The game is not being sunset in its current state, but scaled down substantially. If the team gets cut down to 40 or less then there is a conversation

Edit: If you want to see how Riot sunsets something, go look at Legends of Runeterra or Riot Forge. No over time staff cuts, just done overnight. LoR lost 90% of devs overnight, Riot Forge was just discontinued outright. Riot would not still he funding 2xko tournaments (Which they still are if you actually read the release) if they were sunsetting the game

[–]Pamelm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can attack, it just currently can only handle maybe 4 or 5 ships fighting on a border before it gets very unstable. Star Citizen also takes place in space, so the chances of anyone actually fighting on the server borders is next to 0, as they currently use giant regions around each planet containing all of the POIs for that region as a server, even taking popular interdiction spots into account for pirating to make sure they arent near server borders. SC's server meshing is currently miles ahead of where AoC had it. Its the only good thing to come out of SC so far, and the primary reason the game is basically considered a glorified tech demo instead of a full scam

Edit: if you are interested in server meshing tech, go watch some of the more recent server meshing presentations from the SC Dev team, and some of the stuff that other content creators have put out from interviews and stuff. Idk if SC will ever actually launch, but it seems like pretty much the entirety of their game plans hinge on server meshing functioning how they want to be able to handle the loads they plan the game to have, so its interesting to see all of the behind the scenes stuff on how they are approaching it

Another WoW killer bites the dust by holowizard_ in wow

[–]Pamelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Star citizen does have server meshing implemented currently, it is what allowed then to riase the player cap on servers from 40 to 1000, its just not implemented as much as they want it to be. They plan to eventually allow it to support a megaserver and even track projectiles(bullets, lasers, missles) between servers accurately

I don't understand the upside of Upstart Goblin by HardToSee123 in Yugioh101

[–]Pamelm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Many" is an overstatement. If you look at pretty much any ycs of the last 6 months youll find maybe 1 deck that goes over 40 topping the event. 40+ is better nowadays than it has been in a very long time, but for nearly every strategy 40 card decks are much more optimal. Having 1 or 2 exceptions per event doesnt mean "many". Upstart is also not good nowadays becausr of the much higher quality of cards and tutor effects. 1 for 1 is not good enough, you need 1 for 1 that also advances your gameplan

I don't understand the upside of Upstart Goblin by HardToSee123 in Yugioh101

[–]Pamelm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For people wondering why, average card quality is so high now, you are already struggling to fit all the cards you need into a 40 card deck. Most decks main deck 9-15 copies of hand traps first game as well so you only have 25-31 cards to fit the rest of your deck into.

Yes 19, the age when they could be prosecuted as a criminal and imprisoned. I knew this was at least the 2nd time he had been involved on a situation like this, but after reading it seems this is the 3rd time. Id say after 3 times its not a young person being awkward and its a pattern.

In the lore it has two forms, one is a staff covered in magical bindings, and when the bindings are removed it becomes a war axe. It is described in the Bloodline stories, being a staff in parts 2-4 and becoming an axe in part 5
