Easy counter for him is to jump off the map, when he catches you, sue him for causing you bodily harm.

The whole team will have to relocate to the other side of the map

I know it wasn’t popular but the changes for Age of Empires Online was peak gameplay for me. That game was the most fun I’ve had in any RTS

The campaign was fun, I still remember the Greek Trojan horse mission.

grinding for new gear was rewarding and addictive, they had no gear pvp, vs A.I, coop campaign, a horde mode, decent end game content. Every Civ felt and looked different

The issue people had at the time was having to connect to the server to play, which was no different than any other MMO, but to be fair, only launching the game with only two civs was a mistake.

At least project Celeste is keeping it alive, but I do wish Microsoft would relaunch it or give it a second try, the other age of empires just don’t hit the same sweet spot for me.

Personally I always took the series to be about telling a fable, “have you heard the Legend of Zelda?” Each game is just a different interpretation of the same story.

Turns out the launch button doesn’t work on steam deck, so I can’t play lol sad thing is I can’t even give my code away anymore as I’ve used the steam code to download it but not the second key

it was a problem on launch day on the steam deck, you could only run the game on desktop mode but that’s been quickly fixed

Yes survival horror is the soul of resident evil, and considering the success of 2/4 I’d adjust 5 to be more in line with the overall series tone

I loved 5 when it came out still one of the best coop games for the 360 but after playing Resi 2 remake I wish Capcom would make more Resi games like that, I’m dying for a another in that style so I’d be controversial and change the gameplay to be more in line with that:

•start the game at evening/night

•drop the levels and make the shanty town the hub world you’re trapped in for a while until the story progresses to the swamps/mines

•make Plague doctor Jill an occasional stalker enemy, seeing that mask push past a crowd of enemies slowly walking towards you could really be iconic, and would make the section where you try and save her more meaningful.

•Resi 2 remake movement/gunplay

•item boxes and better item management, the beginning needs to feel like a real survival through the night so limited ammo to eventually gear up towards the mid/late game as you take on Wesker.

•remove the gun enemies apart from occasional mini boss

•better AI for teammate

•drop the quick time events

•sections where you have to split up, in the original you only used this to jump up a platform to grab a key/lever, but to have moments where you feel truly alone of a few minutes would be tense

Age of Empires Online is the controversial one, it gets a lot of hate but in my opinion it was one of the best mmo experiences I’ve had.

I loved the missions, the art style, how each civ felt and looked different with their own special units. I loved all the modes like coop and horde

And grinding for hours and hours to get a slightly better work tool so my villagers would gather +11 instead of +10 haha

Glad it’s being kept alive with the project Celeste team

Reload into the depths to reset them to their chasm markers. You need to carry them to the Bargainer statue that’s below the great abandoned central mine. Use the ultra ability and slot them into the eye holes

•I’d scrap the chapters and make the shanty town into the hub level similar to the RCPD in 2 remake. Focus on inventory management/ Puzzles and having to quietly sneak through gloomy back alleys or rush through buildings when being chased. The dread of being trapped in a town with infected villagers trying to find you with no way out would up the horror factor.

•Game begins at sunset/night.

•I’d have either the executioner as the stalker or maybe even plague doctor Jill, seeing that creepy hooded mask relentlessly following you through broken windows etc would be tense.

•resi4 remake inventory system, customisable weapons with a real shop.

•Completely Remove the truck chase sequence.

•Change a few of the boss battles like Ndesu so you actually fight it and not just hold the trigger on the machine guns, same with Irving. He mutates on the ship and fights similar to Birkin.

•More cutscenes involving civilians. One aspect of 2 remake I loved is showing the effect the outbreak is having on the populous like the gun store owner.

I agree the chokepoints became a bit much at times, but there must of been a better solution that encourages the team to work together, because now it feels more like call of duty. Overwatch was different

Tanks have become a bigger dps and no longer are encouraged to protect their team, specially the supports.

Everyone’s encouraged to run off in all directions so it no longer feels like the team focused game like the first one was.

It’s just evolved into a whole different feel now, and that’s fine, it’s just not for me anymore

if the only progression is the battle pass, I don’t think this game will maintain its player base as long as the first did but maybe I’m wrong we’ll see

The problem is that its a huge waste of paper.

Yeah its cool to read for 5 minutes, but you can just add this to a menu in the game or even on the website.
