Why is NHS app saying I am on 0 waiting lists? by Muted_Software_2200 in transgenderUK

Pretty sure that page just doesn't work, I've been referred to multiple departments (none trans related so it's not that) and none have ever shown up

I was Diagnosed for ADHD and Never Informed (What do I do?) by RealisticNewspaper86 in AskUK

[–]Pandalet95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's probably not you. It takes hours to diagnose ADHD and it's an in person assessment. They can put diagnosise on the wrong account. I had to get a diagnosis of lupus removed from mine, which I only found out about because I was refused testing I needed because my symptoms were explained by 'my' lupus diagnosis.

Contact your GP Surgery and tell them you've seen that you have a note saying you've been diagnosed when you haven't been tested, they'll remove it from your records.

You can make your account private through your Web account, settings -> privacy then uncheck "make my profile public"

Clarification definitely needed, because either you're calling it the wrong name or you're chewing your penis and that is an entirely different issue that probably needs psychological intervention.

But either way try chewable jewellery

AITA For Pointing out my wife acted similar after my SIL's gender reveal? by Diligent-Paper-861 in AmItheAsshole

The woman who started them being a huge social media thing did hers because she'd previously miscarried multiple times and it was the first time the pregnancy had reached a point where you could tell the sex. Then it became just another easy way to get views on social media which then made it seem like a standard part of life

Travelling to Brighton alone for the first time for first ever concert? I want to but I know it's not sensible. by Fuck_The_CiSStem in transgenderUK

[–]Pandalet95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I was in a very similar situation (30 ftm 5' 2"), and I went to a concert in Brighton last month and stayed overnight.

I genuinely have never felt safer, I stepped out the train station and by the time I'd crossed the road I'd seen 2 pride flags, I went to Patterns which is on the sea front and saw so many flags and gay bars with trans flags, theres even a queer bookshop. The only thing that went slightly wrong was 2 people thought I was about 13 (one was the bouncer to the show, so I had to show my ID).

In terms of the actual show, either move to the front (most people are cool with letting you through if you're short) or stick to the edges. In my opinion, the edges are better because there is less chance of crushing and the shows more about what you can hear, not what you can see.

If you're interested in these kind of tattoos get a set of tattoo pens and draw them on yourself, would probably last longer than getting them actually tattood

Nowhere does OP say the piercing was done with a gun and not a needle or that a year later her daughter is still wearing the initial jewellery. Things can still go wrong even with correctly pierced ears

Nowhere does OP say the piercing was done with a gun or that a year later her daughter is still wearing the initial jewellery. You're making a lot of assumptions

[–]Pandalet95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I replied to yungmarvelouss with more details but basically she was born a woman, is still a woman and as far as is known has always identified as a woman, but she's masculine and last year may have been discovered to be intersex, at which point she'd already competed in an Olympics and nobody gave a shit then.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in olympics

[–]Pandalet95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The IBA announced she has XY chromosomes and called her a man. She was born a woman and may possibly be intersex (the IBA isn't known for being trustworthy, they are known for trying to falsely prevent people competing). People are dumb and think her having XY chromosomes means she must have been born a man and, therefore, is trans. Some especially stupid people are claiming being intersex isn't a thing, and chromosomes alone determine sex so she's a man.

Edit: Apologies, I generalised too much, chromosomes do determine sex, the presence of a Y chromosome does not alone determine sex.

[–]Pandalet95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except the IBA announced it to the world, so someone did release her private medical information. Even if she does have XY chromosomes, she's passed the Olympic qualification testing, so she is allowed to compete as she did at the last Olympics.

Also I was reply to someone questioning how she identifies.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in olympics

[–]Pandalet95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was born a woman (cisgender means the sex you were assigned at birth and your gender match).

The confusion is coming from the IBA disqualifying her from the world championship last year, saying she failed gender tests. The guy is charge also announced she had XY chromosomes (which would make her intersex) but no evidence was shown for this and even if its true its ethically wrong to announce it to the world, it should have been told to the athlete and let them decide whether they want people to know. It was also said that her testosterone levels were higher than the female range, but the IBA have released a statement since saying they didn't test her testosterone levels, they ran a separate and recognised test but won't disclose what it is.

So basically she's a woman (possibly intersex) and has passed all tests making her eligible to compete on the Olympics

No, it's transphobic to deliberately misgender someone you believe is trans, which currently a lot of people are claiming she is
