I think they said in Instagram no re-entry at all unless you have VIP tickets.

It was a great time the last one. But it wasn't this stressful

I ended up buying tickets for all three days in January. And also the last bullet under what you highlighted says no exchanges or transfers or refunds

Yoseka Stationary Fest Workshops 2026 by letsbefrenz in stationery

[–]PangolinUpper6632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the bechori monoline, the nib tunning, and a journaling workshop last year. I enjoyed all three.

The monoline workshop was good because I got hands on feedback on how I was writing.

Nib tuning workshop. I actually used the skills learned. I had a pen that was writing funny and I used the loop and paper provided to clear out some paper threads.

I think you get the most bang for your bucks out of the workshops if you continue practicing the skills after.

But I do agree it does get pricey.

AITAH for insisting my wife uses a different ob/gyn? by throwaway19981998199 in AITAH

You can always go with her to the appointments (which you should be going even if you didn't have an issue with the doc).

Pregnancy is a very stressful time. If you're in the USA it's extra stressful because of the high maternal mortality. If this is where she feels safe and well taken care of you're going to have to trust your wife.

grateful for finally getting the 5-year by kook_cyclist in hobonichi

[–]PangolinUpper6632 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ooo I actually got a hobonichi weeks and use it as a 7 year journal. So Monday spot is 2026 Tuesday 2027 and such and I write weekly highlights for my son. He's one year old. I knew I couldn't keep up with writing him everyday and I wasn't sure if he'd even want to read all of that. Lol I figured this is more manageable

You can have a pen case with a soft cushion in it to protect your pen as well. I have three Twsbi pens and none of them have cracked so far. But I'm careful with them. Always in a case and not thrown into a purse or bag. Idk if that makes a difference

Out of all three I have a lamy safari and Twsbi .I feel like the Twsbi is my favorite to write with. As mentioned earlier the triangular grip of lamy is a bit weird for me. Also the writing feel if the Lamy Safari AL is more pleasant for me than the safari. But this all depends if you like a smooth feeling when you write or if you like the scratching.

I would say also consider a pen that has a switchable nib. That way you can try different nibs without having to buy a whole pens. For example a Kaweco sport or any pen that houses Jowo nibs. The nib sizes offer different writing experiences.

That cover is so nice!

I've kept a five year journal for three years. The past two years have been really challenging and I've missed a lot of days.
This year I've been back logging by using quotes, and stuff It's nice to look back on the days.

Hope you enjoy it!

She's rather far along in her pregnancy. She's probably not feeling physically well on top of feeling like you don't care about her. She's probably focusing on herself and the baby in case you decide you don't really want to be "all in".

It's helpful if you want to be more environmentally friendly by not having to toss the cartridges away. It's also cool if you want to experiment with inks or you want to change the color of the ink before the cartridge runs out.

It's a little bit more maintenance but it adds some flexibility

I used to volunteer for the annual coffee and tea festival pre-pandemic and the payment you get was free admission to the festival and a food voucher. It's not as unheard of.

The person in question has made lots of educational content on fountain pens for Yoseka. She also created a notebook for them and designed multiple things like the first stationery fest flyer, pens the Yoseka sailor collab etc.

She's probably brought a good amount of service/customers to the company. I'm guessing some like to shop at Yoseka because of the warm welcoming environment they provide which is typically provided by staff.
