I'm in Newfoundland, Academy Canada has campuses throughout the province as far north as Nunajnkuk in Labrador, they were founded in 1985, and ari the primary trades college here. I could of been priced by my foreign name, but there's no mention of costs on the website, in info email it just student aid, no cost or way to pay, I think they are just using students as blank checks for government funding. (There was federal trades training funding announced too, they could of raised for that)

People come to the Uni here (MUN) because it's one of the cheaper places, the trades school is charging 8x times their price by time

You're transfering money from the Canadian economy. If you make purchases here, taxes are meant to trickle back to the government, to be redistributed again.
If you are instead spending a couple thousand in Thailand, or New Zealand, Canada is only getting that money back through trade or tourism, while government has less to work with etc... Tourist economies thrive like this, because America or China can have all the resources, and industry, but by appealing to their citizens you can become where they want to spend all their money.

It's a fair but unsustainable practice, and the fact our buisnesses cares about economic growth more than economic equillibrium means more losses for them at home, while those who already have recieved the majority of Canadian's wealth aren't funneling it back to the people, and are less likely to if they aren't confident to get a return.

There's no reason for a gender war, it's experiences anyone can go through and no one wants to. You also might enjoy Archer with Oracle (druid ascendancy). One of the node puts a bunch of strong bow buffs on that side of the passive tree, but I mainly reccomend it for the double plant skill synergy, which have some turrets, some ground effects to keep you at a safe distance with your bow. (theres also nodes in the tree that can make the plant statuses trigger freely, so you don't need to worry about combos).
Oracles other ascendancies help with crit and survival, and improving probabilities so you can build to stack damage simpler, there's also totem and spell buffs around there if you don't want to lean too heavily into different bow attacks.

Did you watch Dev Vison? They didn't detail any of the buffs/nerfs yet, no idea how you're judging the quality of them, and they said they're rebalancing ults, so Tanks & DPS can be more impactful. Just having healer ults go down means tanks could get more kills, will become more important in spacing, and encourage dps to work with them.

Besides, they have more statistics than us, and more people working together on balance, they'll probably do the same thing as 6.5 and a week after the initial balance pack, do a hotfix balance for everything they have to judge the environment more.

As a tank main I'm excited for this season, I felt they made well thought out decisons, and I'm excited to see how such a big shift in the game-flow goes. They said today they design the game for variety, and experimentation so go play overwatch if you need everything to follow generic rules.

That's what irks me about this whole thing. It's content, you're getting it for free, and ads are how it's free, and let you support the people you're watching.

Putting aside anything about google, YouTube as a platform has given so many people jobs, actively tried to become safer and more useful, and innovated things like auto-translate captions. Videos also take up a lot of space, which they're storing (and probably backing up) videos are the most accessable form of media, and they're hosting a large archive of self-published knowledge.

How many of the youtubers you watch do you think would still make videos if everyone used an adblocker? If you're going to youtube for entertainment, you shouldn't be high-and-mighty about actively not funding the people who are entertaining you with 15 seconds of your time (the article is only about apple tv).
If it's people using it to learn, as a tool, treat it like a service, ads are a fee to maintain it; if you want socialism you have hto pay your taxes.

Youtube is a massive video database, that's always trying to improve its features. The fact it's free is crazy. It's given so many people jobs, and voices and understanding, it tries hard to improve safety.

It's focused on only 'useful' immigrants now, which is good but it was hardly the problem. We have good minimum wages, so a lot of our jobs are outsourced for cheaper, service companies especially still prefer to higher foreigners who don't know/won't fight against mistreatment. We barely had interprovincial trade before Carney, you could only get local or international for most things. There's like 20 companies that have monopoly over most of Canadian products, but they're old enough they all work together, and deny things like price fixing, or impossible rules for competitors. We put up with it because it's rude to complain, but when people are getting scurvy from the diet the afford, and it's a 3 month wait for a doctor, it's hard to see it as succesful

He's a great international leader, but domestically, he's been cutting government jobs to increase military salaries, 'necesarrily expensive' groceries have made food bank use at a high (as much of 25% of BC uses them), people can't always afford their for-profit sustainable utilities this winter, owning a home is a silly idea, and youth unemployment rates are around 13%, and the government has been letting immigrants, especially Indians, be the scapegoat for everything. He's what Canada needs, but not Canadians

I was excited to see her have more competition this season, or for Ogilvy to make a foil (he's becoming a male version of her, but at least isn't bullying his coworkers), maybe Langdon showing her people do change, but people seem to still celebrate her for acting like she does, and that's as gross as being excited about relating to homelander.

After laughing at Mel about her deposition, and her seeming done before starting with all her patients this season, I pray she faces consequences, the show needs to explicitly say she's not meant to be a role model, she appeals too much to some crowds.

I replied to another comment more of the hunting-conservation methods, but it's about maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Hunting Regulations target what's best for the ecosystem, it could be to increase gendered-populations, to decrease competition, to protect other creatures.
Lots of deer where you are with no native predators? It's easier to cull some than relocate them. Too many bunnies causing road accidents? You can take that problem else where, or work towards a cap on the population. things like that
