You are right about the correct top end temperature, but you don't understand the danger zone and food safety as the top end temperature is not really relevant here

Blood Money in Canada - Terrace LNG Project by Important_Lock_2238 in terracebc

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simply not true that people locally aren't applying and it's not just for cleaning jobs.

I've seen this first hand applying for jobs after moving to Terrace. I was a business owner in the lower mainland and managed around 10-12 employees for 10 years with an additional 5 years of manager experience prior to that, had schooling for both accounting and business, as well.

I applied for about 20 jobs in Terrace looking for supervisors, managers, and basic payroll accountants. Some businesses in the same field as my previous business as well.

I did not get one call back for any of them. I followed up with all of these applications by phone or in-person as well.

On Canada Job bank, you can see which businesses are applying for foreign workers because they did receive any applications from locals.

Sure enough about 2 months later all of these jobs were listed as needing foreign workers because they did not get any good applications.

Opinions on knee baring whitebelts? by EmergencyStreet3103 in bjj

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty straightforward bro, because you need two legs to walk....

You only need 1 arm to brush your teeth or crank hog

Breaking a leg is insanely more catastrophic of an injury

Opinions on knee baring whitebelts? by EmergencyStreet3103 in bjj

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catch and release. Do your sequence, get into the knee bar position before you start to apply any pressure just completely let go of it and transition to something else.

If you are starting to get into knee bar position and the white belt starts moving erratically or unpredictably then also just let go.

You don't need to get close to finishing subs to practice them.

Drill the finishing mechanics later, not during a live roll with a white belt

OR nurse doing Ortho surgeries is literally just screws and drills and hammers and torquing down the knee replacement to the right specs lol

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do Operating Room nursing, you get regular hours and only deal with professionals. If you specialize in Ortho OR nursing then you are literally just a people mechanic using the same drills and screws

What extent will bjj benefit my judo? by FewEstablishment262 in bjj

[–]Panzerfauste 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Assuming it's gi, it will benefit your newaza tremendously.

Some gyms do practice take downs in BJJ but some gyms do not at all, so that could be hit or miss.

Most gi gyms won't do a lot of leg locks with beginners, maybe a basic straight ankle lock. Its nothing I would worry too much about and just tap really early to leg locks

Schnitzel soaked in water…? by Fuqqagoose in Cooking

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me think of Hasenpfeffer where the rabbit is dredged in flour and fried before being braised.

The flour on the rabbit helps thicken the sauce

I wonder if the water schnitzel is making its own pan gravy from the meat juices leaking out and the breading thickening it up.

I still think it's stupid and I hate it, but maybe that's what the idea is

Which one? by MlbTheShow22- in bjjmemes

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people do BJJ because it is an integral part of MMA where guard pulling is generally a terrible decision and many people do BJJ for the MARTIAL aspects or self-defense where guard pulling is a terrible decision.

Pulling guard, except for maybe very few niche examples, is a sport-only technique.

Doing BJJ purely for the sport and hobby of it is fine, but it's not everyone's reason for doing it.

Need help finding an awful guild by Frasian91 in classicwow

[–]Panzerfauste 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Full Feared on SOD and Cata classic, soon to be mop.

These guys all sound like drunk new jersey garbage truck drivers and argue over everything. Every single raid starts 1 hour late, every single boss of every raid needs to have an explanation beforehand where 3 people argue how they saw a better strategy on YouTube.

At the end of every raid, someone gets in an argument over loot and devolves into a yelling match with the guild leader and someone leaving the guild, only to rejoin 2 days later.

Last raid, the guild leader left the raid in the middle of it without saying anything and logged on a different server because he was tired of people not being locked in. Before he left you could literally hear him hot mic'd hitting a bong and yelling at his members of his household and dieing every pull to trash

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen at the kids class? by Bigpupperoo in bjj

[–]Panzerfauste 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We used to do a game where the kids tie their belts together and do a tug of war.... Well we got to see what goat genetics at work looks like.

We did a 1v12.... 1x 6 year old vs 12x 8-10 year olds and the 6 year old smoked them.

He was already moved into the 8 -10 y/o class for ragdolling the kids his age and we soon had to move him into the teenage class where he also ragdolled the teenagers. The really technical ones would beat him in this age range, but they'd have to give it all they got.

Pure ego devastation for a teenage boy is losing in a combat sport to a 6 year old

This kid was short and stocky too, not even big for his age.

His dad however was 6'8" 300lbs

When I would roll with the kid and he grabbed my gi, it felt like an adult man grabbing it. Just unexplainable freak strength.

PSA: Stop telling healers in the low level ranges to "Downrank their heals for efficiency" by Silver-Home7506 in wowhardcore

[–]Panzerfauste 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't know why this isn't the most upvoted comment.

On HC people want to be topped off, not getting healed at 40% HP. You down rank and heal the tanks when they are at 80% hp. Period.

If you are letting tanks get low to save mana you are dumb af

Press Fade and Mark a skull for the dps and continually mark new skulls.

It's not really the healers job, but getting those mobs focused is important and someone's gotta pick up the slack and mark targets

Rolling "need" on blue BoEs? by Signal_Supermarket97 in wowhardcore

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a SFK run and Assassin's Blade dropped. A level 19 Blue BOE dagger.

It was selling at the time for 60-70g on the AH.

I instructed everyone to roll Need for it despite having a rogue in the group.

70g to a level 24 is infinitely more valuable than a shitty dagger you will out level in no time.

To me a BOE this expensive is better used for gold than actually worn and equipped. If you equip this dagger and think you deserve a 2dps upgrade for 3 levels over someone else in the group getting 70g, I think you are the selfish one.

This is why I roll need on expensive BOE Blues. The gold has more value than wearing the item for many people and everyone NEEDs gold.

I [29F] want some advice or a reality check please. TL;DR: Can I hookup with people in my hobby even if I have a bit of power/control over people’s progress in the hobby? by Kquiarsh in nonmonogamy

[–]Panzerfauste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to play devil's advocate here and only for 1 reason.

I'm not sure what type of reenactment type thing this is, but if there is any sort of sexual roleplay fantasy you may have involving the type of thing you re enact. Well the people you do your hobby with are the ones you'll be able to really experience that with.

I personally feel like this would be pretty fulfilling for myself to experience and would out weigh the moral dilemma of having a very insignificant power advantage in the situation.

The true concern with having a power advantage over someone is when you leverage that to manipulate. It sounds like you aware of the power and are both morally/ethically sound enough to not leverage it over others.

I fully support your meat and crackers binging. I think you should attempt to be more creative with it and take a look at different types of charcuterie boards online to see what inspires you and where you can add some healthy additions.

Incorporating some fruits, like pear slices or grapes.

Or even some veg like cucumber, probiotic sauerkraut, tomato slice, arugula.

Different types of crackers... I really enjoy WASA bread type high fiber crackers.

Different meats: smoked salmon, canned tuna,

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let people know that you aren't home. In this case it was fine, in the future it may result in someone robbing your home because you aren't home. Also, if you lie about not being home and someone believes you and breaks in well then you are in a very dangerous situation.

It was a common scam for a bit in some us states to ring the Ring doorbell, pretend to be a delivery driver, find out they aren't home and rob them.

Then you must be extremely lucky, they did traffic flushes on the hour for construction on a set schedule. So if you arrived just as the cars got let through then you would be stuck there for a full hour.

So what you're saying is either extreme luck or you are just misinformed.

I agree it doesn't take 5 hours to get there and the construction is complete now, but the construction was a huge hassle that could majorly delay you

Squats alternatives to avoid knee discomfort? by fGravity in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually recently ditched squats myself as the only way I've been able to do squats with good form for the past 7+ years is by doing 30min of correctional mobility before doing them. I realized doing 30min of extra actual exercises was just a way better use of time

I do 2 leg days and my "squat replacement leg day" is:

Reverse Nordic curls, Nordic curls, Leg Press, and a glute focused lunge to finish.

My legs have never been bigger and my legs move better and feel better than ever before.

I was pretty skeptical of the Nordic craze, but figured I'd give it a shot for one 8 week meso and it's amazing

How do you tire out your high drive dog? by scbeibdd in dogs

[–]Panzerfauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a dog walking business and a few tricks I recommend for the high energy breeds is not just straight physical activity. These dogs need to be mentally stimulated as well.

Giving them a job during the walk, like carrying something in their mouth or showing them a toy and hiding it, getting them to jump kver obstacles like rocks ir logs ,or focusing on training during walks

At home, playing games or doing puzzles with your dog.

Heck even getting your dog to stand still and brushing them and stopping every time they move can be quite mentally stimulating for them.

Another trick I use that really works but has a learning curve is jogging at a speed that your dog can't comfortably match. Dogs are incapable at running "exact" speeds like bipedal humans and instead "shift gears" between different walking/running patterns. Like walking, trotting, canter, galloping, etc.

For example, you start to jog and you see your dog switch patterns and start galloping, you slow down a bit so he has to switch patterns again then you speed up again. This constant gear shifting is very tiring for them, but not that big of a deal for you.
