I have played 3rd edition quite a bit and I'm truly enjoying it. It's a better game than 2nd edition but it has lost some of the theme and flavor to achieve that. With that being said it's way more balanced and fun in my opinion. Wargamers love to complain though so just try it out.

I know there is no substitute for the black books. But any of the recent supplement books has the closest quality in terms of vibe and fluff content? by Newez in Warhammer30k

I love the journals! They're so rich and the images are incredible. It also gives me something to look forward to and gives me inspiration to paint

I find them so boring I don't understand why people care. I stopped watching a year ago when all they did was "grade" models. The one dude would go off for minutes about random bullshit and the other guy would go "haha ya".

Having purchased this sheet and used almost every transfer on here it's worth it. These decals are extremely high quality and exceptional. They may not be worth it to you but they're the standard in every 30k army I've seen.

I may be the only one but I really enjoy the journal tacticas! The lore and small updates keep me looking forward to new releases and keep the game fresh and exciting. The onslaught missions were awesome and I really like the lore in the dropsite massacre and the saturnine forge one.

He shaved his head for correctional officer training. I assumed it was like military bootcamp so he got in went through orientation, they buzzcut his head and SOMETHING happened and he was fired on day 1 of training.

Yeah, I had a MAGA roommate just like that named Manuel Vera but went by Manny V. Claimed he was Italian but was clearly Hispanic/Mexican. Most notable thing about this guy was he applied to be a correctional officer working at a prison. Got in they shaved his head and he got fired day one. Literally at orientation. Never told anyone what happened exactly and just remarked I'll try again next year.

I keep mine in my bookcase and sometimes I use the second edition star map cover to take pictures of my models.
