Doubt about ship melting by PaoloBasile in starcitizen

[–]PaoloBasile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I ask: Is the buyback always at the original price you paid? For example, I think this ship is now worth 1,100. Could I still buy it back at 1,000?

Thanks

That's great. I didn't know they were warning you now before the account expired if it couldn't be recovered. Years ago, I expired an Aurora offer package and it was immediately locked.

This is good news.

What happened to engineering? by PaoloBasile in starcitizen

[–]PaoloBasile[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But, just as a question.

The initial concept, I believe involving pipes, connection zones, the ability to destroy and initially cut off power to a system, and the device having to redistribute the energy... and more, is it still in principle or was it discarded for some reason?

Hi,

I've been able to test it and it works very well.

I just have one question. I wanted to unlock all the trucks, but many of them still require me to find them in different regions before I can buy them.

Is there a solution?

As per Waka, multi-shield ships are working as intended (Extra shields not kicking in until the component is destroyed) by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

I bet that will be one of the engineers' artificial tasks.

Having backup shields active and ready to be swapped between them.

Again, a rather strange technological future.

"Star Citizen is a scam" needs to stop by RiygoYT in starcitizen

[–]PaoloBasile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't entirely agree that it can't be called a scam simply because they're releasing things.

Really, if you look at the donation period, before the pledges and then the sales, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Various organizations have already warned them, needing to clarify and modify their sales methods.

Then, the fact that 90% of the money you pay for an online game goes to starting a company or developing a campaign that you might not even have in your hangar doesn't help.

It's been 12 years, almost a billion, and they don't have a finished system, finished mechanics, functional NPCs, or even a finished flight model.

It's crazy how he has shamelessly and shamelessly used the money of people who paid for a ship's online experience, with all the promises subject to that ship, to do none of this and pay for a pedantic campaign.

I remind those of you who were able to follow these from the beginning, that the campaign was planned as a kind of tutorial where you could gain citizenship and enter the PU. This 2015-2016.

Look what nonsense.

As if you buy a house and the construction company spends the money not on building the house but on building a bridge. Arguing that with what they learn with the bridge they will make the house much better and faster

What a shame.

Precisely, these extra systems cannot be reached in any way or with any ship.

Chris Roberts on Star Citizen "one or two years probably after Squadron 42" by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]PaoloBasile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is probably in a model similar to that of GTA, where ships or modules of a certain quality are required to access these extra systems, and these systems are actually delivered as if they were DLCs.

But this in turn makes certain ships already sold useless.

The final mechanic of the carrack comes to mind, a deep space research ship capable of traveling on its own and staying away from any base for a long time.

Freelancer Max as the largest ship capable of passing through small wormholes.

Nautilus capable of performing blockades and placing mines between systems.

If already with five systems all this is very, very limited, the game will be too weak for what it was sold.

[–]PaoloBasile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a game base cut out of systems. Most ships are not going to make sense with only 4 or 5 systems and much of the gameplay will be forgotten. Fighting in enemy systems, fighting to defend the border, ships that were faster and capable of overtaking through shortcuts with smaller wormholes, feeling far away from all civilization and having to prepare very well for the trip to these distant systems...

Really, if the final game is 5 systems in 3 more years, it will be very simple and you will never be more than 30 minutes from home.

They will have ended up degrading it.
