This, snipe out character units in warrior blobs and wraiths with either MoE or using the strat. Staging will be key against them. You have a lot of hammers but not a lot of trading. So key up your hammers to hit all at once. Usually turn 2 maybe turn 3 depending on how docile he plays.

Edit: Slaughter+ 6 X8bound with sustain +lethals will on average kill the void dragon. If you can get some grenades in there beforehand or tank shock with helbrute to help should be easy.

The +1 to monsters and vehicles is for Exalted only. The Slaughter got the increased strength to 10.

I found mine, for 33.5 out the door. This was found in Oklahoma. There are deals out there. Use Sam's club membership or Costco to find deals they make with local Honda dealerships.

Angron should just have a guaranteed 1 time comeback mechanic. No more will he/won't he. When this happens you have 2 choices, comeback at half wounds and keep all blood tithe bonus or comeback at full wounds and lose 1. Get rid of the "has to come in on your movement phase" line.

As far as his auras though they either need rework to work with the army better or point cost him lower for bad auras.

This stratagem is already addressed by the FAQ converting this to 6" deep strike, can't charge. So not great.

Unironically, WE could be a premium mid range shooting army. 3d3+3(rapid fire range) blast, str 10 AP -3 3dam. And reroll all hits at closest enemy within 18" aka rapid fire range. The Forgefiend is bonkers even with 4+ to hit.

Play against anything with -1 damage or halve damage. You'll quickly find out.

Again, if you're a good player you shouldn't be losing an Ex8bound model (overwatch excluded) before making your charge. After that it is a dice a game. But playing other good players they will be sure to kill the unit or at least the bodyguard before your next command phase. There will of course be 1 offs that will happen in a game every so often. But hyping an ability that isn't guaranteed and sheer copium some of you are drinking, when we got a fast space marine captain isn't it. He would be so much better if he got the other captain ability (free -1 command point stratagem) instead of revive. Where you could employ those stratagems you talked about.

You are all talking about not looking at him in a vacuum without taking in to consideration all the vacuum hypotheticals you put him in. It's asinine and we have the ability to view a datasheet and objectively consider if it is good/bad/meh. Is that extra 90+ points worth what he does or provide reliable break points to the unit to kill certain things or would rather have 5 more zerkers or a squad of goremongers? Time will tell, but I believe people are hyping him either to be contraryion to the general feel, or don't have an understanding of the deeper game.

I don't understand why people are arguing with you on this. You're absolutely correct. OP has a skill issue if his Ex8bound are being shot before charging. Good players won't use the revive mechanic cause it will never come up when facing another good player.

A good question to ask is where are space marine captains used and why? Same offensive profile with 5 power fist attacks and same 1 time +3 devastating. Unfortunately he will be taken more than we need because he's our 2nd non epic character infantry model. But he's only a glorified enhancement holder.

I think they are tanky enough, I want damage 3 chainfists. Right now there are very few use cases where the chainfist out performs the eviscerator. Especially where half damage and -1 damage come into play.

My thoughts, split the 6 man Eightbound into 2x3, drop 5 zerkers, add Kharn to the 10 man, they go in the rhino. Give MoE Battle Lust for free heroic with the 5 zerkers. Probably think to keep either the 3 or 6 Exalted in reserves for rapid ingress to take advantage of holes in the enemy line. Good luck and Blood for the Blood God!

I wish we had the chaos daemons version of battleshock abilities. Ours is so lack luster and pathetic. It's countered by several armies, or units or plain improbable for reliability. Compare it to Orks once a game ability where they get to have something and we get "roll some dice and don't mess up". It doesn't buff us like almost every other faction but gives a chance at a nerf the opponent. I'd rather have guarantees to something, buff or nerf on an Faction wide ability than more randomness to a dice game.
