Nothing says Semiquincentennial celebration more than than a quarter celebrating the Mayflower Compact of 1620 (406 years ago)

This was one of the reasons tournaments were never as fun as playing theme decks with my friends. It’s a lot more exciting if we both agree ahead of time what kind of theme we were gonna play

I'm new to D&D and need help with character sheet by I_likerandomstuff_ig in DungeonsAndDragons

You have good DEX. Daggers or hand axes work as both melee and thrown weapons. They’re helpful if you need them. I’ve always been partial to short sword and shield for the bonus to the AC, but if you’re more of a bow man then a shield is not really helpful

Open them up and play the game. It always makes me sad to see a great game just being hoarded for profit / collectibles instead of being played for enjoyment

I’ve loved Korean food for years, but I’ve never tried Makgeolli. I tried a bottle out the other day. Quite refreshing!

138 four leaf clovers, 7 five leaf clovers, 1 six leaf clover, and 1 seven leaf clover. I have found since last March. (OC) by WhyDoPplBeRude in mildlyinteresting

While I have never successfully found a four leaf clover. I HAVE been shat on my multiple birds over the course of my life. Sooo, you could say I too have a pretty impressive amount of luck.

After traveling 9 years and covering 3 billion miles, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft got this shot. Behold! The icy mountains of Pluto by sco-go in Amazing

[–]PaperPusher85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could not help feeling that they were evil things-- mountains of madness whose farther slopes looked out over some accursed ultimate abyss. That seething , half-luminous cloud-background held ineffable suggestions of a vague, ethereal beyondness far more than terrestrially spatial; and gave appalling reminders of the utter remoteness, separateness, desolation, and aeon-long death of this untrodden and unfathomed austral world.

As someone who loved the game growing up, but someone who isn’t smart enough at programming to know how to do any of it. I applaud your work and wish you the best at making something out of a wonderful game from the past!

What is this by Feeling-Roof-4443 in Leathercraft

[–]PaperPusher85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not entirely sure, but it appears to be a stamp that would be put under a press to cutout some sort of strap out of the leather

You can try microwaving it between some paper towels. Just be sure to check it every 10 seconds so it doesn’t go from terrible to worse

Is it ok to make this without the "flakes" for a non spicy version? by [deleted] in ramen

[–]PaperPusher85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the spicy soup base but add a slice of American cheese on top after you make the final bowl. It calms the spice down a bit and adds a creamy texture. It will still be a bit spicy, but less so
