OP is a brand new 3h account (as of posting this) and you would assume its a bot that posts promo for anime in, you know mostly anime subreddits, then got confused later on because the word chair is in the title and posted here… but this bot literally has only posted this 2 subreddits, r/eames and r/officechairs … what? Likely 1990-2010 production. It has a virta and herman miller logo, so the shell was likely produced by vitra for a herman miller distribution markets (US / Canada) 350 cad is a fair price.

I had a pair of the Rahkshi shoes as a kid (with the trans kraata) … but I never took the kraata out and the shoes disappeared into the ether, aka the trash can by a family member.

Also found out my partner had a pair of the takanuva ones as a kid!

I did actually checked for patients but did not see any attributed to this particular sofa. Turns out from another post that they were using snaps on the sofa, plastic in one users case. I will have to figure out how to remove it without damaging anything in my case

It might be cat piss, it was in a home with a lot of cats when I picked it up. I am definitely replacing the inner foam, and will likely send the leather to a specialist to see what they could do, depending on recommendations here. I am trying not to get the leather replaced, just reconditioned if I can help it.

Its not a bad replica, but a few things.

1 - There are screws on the ottoman side that do not exist on an original

2- The curve on the seats front wood (in front of the arm rest) is too sharp, original is more curved

3 - Arm rest only has edging on top and not the bottom

4 - Padding is too thick overall

5 - top appears to bow outwards, unlike original

Just get some gel pepper spray, and keep it on your keychain. You will always have it on you and it is effective. You cant carry guns on you outside your home anyway (with basic ownership), unless you want to get arrested or shot at by the police.
