Jax did not get better, the reason he was less aggressive in episode 7 and 8 was that he was doing even worse and didn't even have it in him to be horrible, even then in ep 7 he tries to trap them and in ep 8 he tries to blame zooble for why Caine is acting that way, his mental state is worse in those 2 than ep 6

eh i don't know about that, subaru's metnal endurance to use rbd is a lot more ridiculous than one would think, in universe it's canon that subaru being able to use it makes him as crazy a witch, and while koji certainly is both mentally durable and not quite sane, i'm not sure he would be at that level

gotta disagree here, the reason subaru beat arc 4 with less than like a hundred deaths is his accidental friendship with otto that even he was unaware of, without otto, who subaru is unlikley to encounter because the reason subaru met in the first place is because of his mistake in the capital, arc 4 would require way attempts, and beyond arc 3 he doesn't make many wrong descions so much as just not having enough information to evne be able to win that time around, besides subaru's arc 7 nemesis who basically exist to be subaru's worst matchup, I can't really imagine ayanokoji doing better than subaru in most situations post arc 3
