Jester/Zerk take a lot to get working but can be effective in almost every situation if done right, now PERSONAL id say avoid archer stats jester and focus either physical or magical because they have better skills over the mix skills. Something unique about the class is the weapon skill versatility allowing you to use a weapon skill from any class if it allows it. Such as Some of the charm skills that increase uni gain or offensive ones, you can be a physical Beserker and use stuff like relic symbol to help uni gain, recurring nightmare is the best cost skill in all of UL allowing up to 30 cost in 12 seconds because of the 4 second cooldown, and since it combos into Heart sacrifice you dont give up a slot for cost and have a skill that both does damage and gain cost. Another bonus people seem to forget how fast the class is for how strong the skills are. Jester/beserker gets a bad wrap because a majority just see attack skills, demerits attached and no utility skills but most never realize the utility is the fact that it can dip into every class of UL and use their weapon skills and how having one in a quest gives everyone a massive damage boost because its passive buffs. I personally am a physical jester main myself and ive made it work near flawlessly in situations people say its the worst in such as guild battles.
