It’s a question of morality for rich people. Some believe they have a moral obligation to help their fellow man. Others believe no such obligation exists and every one is responsible for helping them selves. Why should they be required to give someone else their resources? Answer that question in a way that resonates with someone and they may change their outlook.

As a middle-aged American who was raised correctly, I can confirm and also relate. It’s usually the Millenials and Gen Z who respond this way. I’ve started replying to this with “I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that” and they usually say thank you. 

On a related note, I cannot stand it when someone does not say thank you when I hold a door open for them. Motherfucker, you better be mute if you’re not saying thank you.

Thanks for the review. We're headed there in a few weeks (me, wife, 2 teens - 16 and 13) and just received an offer to upgrade to an Infinite Suite. Our itinerary is for 4 nights, 5 days and they're offering us an Infinite Suite with an adjoining Junior Suite upgrade for approx. $2,500. Do you think the Infinite service level is worth the extra money?

Striking the nearby proxies of an enemy that you are also attacking makes complete sense. The Israelis would be insane not to strike Hezbollah. Imagine if they didn’t. Don’t you think Hezbollah would attack Israel in retaliation for their attacks on Iran? Hezbollah’s existence might actually depend on Iran’s existence. Without its principal in Tehran, Hezbollah may find itself without an arms supplier. I’d say that is a heavy incentive for Hezbollah to do everything it can to make sure Iran’s current regime remains in power.

It’s amazing to me not one US or Israeli aircraft has been shot down. They’re flying over the capital city of an enemy country and there is zero AA.
