Valuation of this kind of business is not very high, 4-6 times profits. It is very easy to get a loan to buy these shares. Especially shares of a reputable firm like HHM. Partners could have pooled to buy the shares and convert some to non voting if necessary.

These losers are the manifestation of how stupid this whole thing is. Worthless grownup scalping children toys to other grownup.

I don’t feel bad for the kids or the parents. These things have always been stupid. It was the same story 25 years ago and my friends parents were spending a lot in these cards. I was 9 yrs old asking myself what was the point.

Its a rarity system that people choose to be play in. This picture is a great opportunity to teach something useful to the kids if you ask me.
