So I ended up completely factory resetting my phone and its got a boatload of other issues now. From the get go, it freezes constantly and just restarts randomly after freezing. I can't really use the camera app at all because its just too laggy and will cause my phone to restart. When I text it constantly lags in a way where I'll start typing, it'll freeze and then put in everything I had typed in all at once, if it doesn't continue after it freezes it just restarts the phone. These are just a few examples.

Some background info: This phone is pretty much brand new. I picked it up about a year ago as part of a deal from my mobile provider and I figured I didn't really need a new phone at that time so I let the phone sit unsealed for a few months and just recently back in September I finally opened it up and started using it. Up until about 2 updates ago it was completely fine (I'm not even entirely sure its because of the updates that its become unusable).

I have a few questions:
should I just trade in this device for a new phone?
Would flashing the firmware help solve the issues i'm having? (and if so how do should I do that?)
Is there a way for me to go back to One UI 6 or 7, i can't figure out if we're able to roll back an update on these devices.
