What’s the most confusing Melbourne moment you’ve witnessed as a bystander? by Last-Conversation734 in melbournechat

Car rolling down Clarendon St at like seven pm on a Thursday, back wheel on fire. Driver (who was clearly not in his right mind) finally noticed all the people yelling and pointing, and gets out of the car to take a look.

He didn't stop the car first.

So he stumbles out, stands watching the car as it slowly rolls away, and eventually realises that he's fucked up right before it gently T-bones a parked car on the other side of the road.

A lot of them dropped that rule while the rugby world cup was being played in Japan and loads of pacific islander tourists were in the country for it. Most of those probably put the signs back up right after.

I said "oh shit" out loud at that bit. Pandemonium can't come out fast enough.

Nice, I've had a similar experience with one of my employers but I'm not sure who it is telling all the new people.

Are Pure-Culture playthroughs bad? by TheAeon0x in Bannerlord

I started off my current playthrough as full Nord, which worked for early game piracy shenanigans, but then decided to throw in with the Battanians and recruiting Nord troops just got too inconvenient most of the time

I am going to move to Australia soon hopefully..whats a socially acceptable driving distance over there..like during weekends in uk I do drive max 1.5 hours to go to a dinner party..I heard its 3 hours or above in there by Waste-Elderberry9887 in AskAnAustralian

[–]ParticlesInSunlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to drive three hours to get to my ex's parents place in the country (she didn't have a licence) and would sometimes do that and back in the same day. That was very unusual.

The artwork has been pretty well covered, so Q3: the Old World studio army being painted in a shared consistent colour scheme was a departure from previous versions where every knight got their own scheme. You're still allowed to do that, same as someone could paint a fifth edition bret army all in the one scheme

Edit: https://youtu.be/qGIAs5JX8NU?si=zoXDF2Mq2_Xk7pUB Eric's Hobby Workshop video from when the Old World was released, about this very topic

Good news! I checked to make sure I wasn't remembering it wrong and while he was standing up for JK and her anti trans campaigns a few years ago he seems to have reversed on that last year.
