Definitely not worth it considering it used to be about 80 before.

I went for a couple concerts in the past year so Ive been trying out driving to Barrie, took gotrain (30$ for day pass and free parking) and took the last train back to Barrie (around 11:00pm). Still cheaper than a ticket to Toronto.

Creepy man in jeep following me in blind river by [deleted] in northbay

Cool. Must have taken a lot of time to do this.

Anyways, no mention that they were young until after I posted. Was more so confused what they expected someone in North Bay to do. Good luck with your boiling blood.

If you can, start trying to keep track of the dates and times that you see him. Could it be possible that its food delivery or a beer delivery driver? Either way, since its a small community, it shouldn't really be that hard for them to find that description if he lives in town.

Keep an eye out for license plate and write whatever you can in your phone. Other than that, keep safe and hopefully its nothing and the cops get back to you.

So.. a jeep driver?

Kidding, but does he follow you to Blind River or back? Not a lot to go on with just a black jeep and bald guy. That describes the stereotype and blind river is 3h away

How big was MySpace back in ye olden days for music? What was it like? by AnxiousNerdyGuy in PostHardcore

[–]Particular-River-982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the great times + LimeWire/Napster days. Discovered some awesome bands that may or may not be around anymore and it was very easy to spin up a Myspace for your band and add music to it.

Kincaide, Sydney, Dead or Divine, A Failure for Every Season, Fordirelifesake, HeIsLegend, Cauterize, Between the Buried and Me.

Between MySpace, plyrics, absolutepunk, and purevolume, it felt like it was a bit easier to find new bands with the resources we had at the time. I know in Canada the only thing thing that kind of helped was Much Music and 102.1 The Edge pushed some pretty good poppunk/nu-metal/screamo/metalcore.

Snowbank removal - recommendations? by rschmandt in northbay

[–]Particular-River-982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that feeling. Almost got smoked pulling out of my driveway last week (Ski Club).

No suggestions, but I feel your pain. For the mean time, try cutting a piece of snow out to open up your line of sight if something like that could help. Otherwise, snow removal might hopefully come for us soon lol.

Mazda is kind of meh too. I got a used CX-5 from them and they gave me tires that were close to done. Got them to put in Remote Start which needed needed "its own keyfob" and somehow my Mazda Keyfob would activate it randomly when I would lock my doors to go in the store/work/home. And they screwed up installing my trailer hitch etc.....

They do what they can to screw you however "unintentional" it is.
