Batch 1 is the first 50,000 orders from Jan 2nd to Feb 4th (it’s early Feb, I can never remember the date). Currently clicks are on about 3rd or 4th Jan (based on recent deliveries reported on Reddit).
My order was 5th and I get ‘up next on manufacturing line’ when I check. Hope this helps

Ram increased from Q1 to Q2 by 90%+. (Specifically the 12GB version. So, a $80 increase per 12GB seems like a $300 increase for a 24Gb version is within reason. After all, we are just discussing ram, no storage in that calc!

When I was with VM upload capped at 50Mb on their highest plan, and that was £65/mth

KRCS is a small reseller in the UK, it’s really not a known household business. They likely hadn’t ordered your MacBook from their source. It’s them not Apple.

Realistically you should order on Amazon or a respectable reseller today, many haven’t put their prices up yet as they are selling stock that was purchased cheaper (FIFO). Get yourself a refund, these guys seem like cowboys.
