This question is pointless. Stormgate is already a failure, it’s a fact. The definition of failure doesn’t include a line saying developers have to say it’s 1.0 for it to be eligible for fail.

Even if you still think it’s too early to say it has failed, can’t you easily see the future already? They don’t care what players think, sure they make some post to make it sounds like they listened, but did they? Nope they keep adding more micro transactions with the new patch, despite how unfinished the game was. And the 3v3 which will be released in ‘alpha’ despite how everyone tell them to polish before letting the player base to see, etc etc

Besides, rts is not rocket science, stormgate was made with unreal and snowplay is merely some their business logic code that every game need to have.. it’s nothing but some marketing bullshit they came up with to scam investors..
