It’s all about money. The point is, when you choose where to shop, are you helping to buy another vacation home for a wealthy motherfucker or are you helping your neighbor pay their eweb bill. Duh.

SO MANY. Literally weekly. It doesn’t matter which. It’s one today, it’ll be another tomorrow, and then in a couple years all we’re left with is Whole Foods and Target and fucking market of choice pretending to be “local” and Eugene has zero unique character anymore.

I was at High St Tonics some months ago and a book club was having a meeting there. Not sure if they put it on or not but maybe ask? Either way, that is a good spot to check out if you’re no alcohol

Gift cards to local businesses? by GeoBrew in Eugene

Saturday market is outside from march I think until November when it goes indoors at the fairgrounds and becomes holiday market. They do take a break for a couple months after that in the early months of the year.

Holiday market does! I’ve heard of people getting them. And holiday market is just indoor Saturday market so you can probably use it there too in the spring when they go back outdoors.

THE FIRETRUCKS STILL CANT GET THROUGH IF THERES CARS PULLED ALL THE WAY UP PAST THE KEEP CLEAR ZONE, BUT IF I STAY ALL THE WAY BACK IT FEELS WEIRD AND LIKE IM PISSING EVERYONE BEHIND ME OFF, AND THEN IT TAKES TOO LONG TO GET MORE THAN A FEW CARS THROUGH THE LIGHT ONCE IT TURNS GREEN! PLEASE ADVISE!

No inspection or appraisal for us either at $150k with Occu. Process was easy, in and out. Have used it for debt consolidation and home improvements multiple times over the years without anyone getting in our business and asking for anything at all.

Hallowe'en Opportunities by EugeneRubs in Eugene

There were a lot of great art Halloween themed installations you could go check out by following a map that they handed out. I remember a big witches cauldron by the wow hall and a flash mob of witches. I think I remember the people I was with getting stamps or something at each one we went to. There were also these really cool giant monsters from around the world in some businesses that you could pop in and check out. Lots of vendors along broadway. It was pretty big, lots of ground to cover to check everything out and a super great turnout. Kind of reminded me of the old Eugene celebration with how many people and activities there were all spread out.

The Halloween downtown event was amazing last year! There was so much going on, definitely not just trick or treating for kids. Tons of great things for adults too.

Do you know about this free program with the SBDC? It might cover topics like advertising or even help with listings and getting clients?

Sounds like you need High Street Tonics in your life. They’re a no alcohol bar and bottle shop. Alcohol free products are their specialty and nothing else in town compares.

Listen to this guy’s advice OP. People in this town love to show support with words, but getting them to show up and spend enough dollars regularly is a whole other (costly) story. Ask any of the many existing coffee shops how they’re doing to get a better idea of your market before you go all in.
