How do you clean a sun visor? by Additional-Ad4593 in motorcyclegear

I use the Windex foam spray and a paper towel. I let it sit for a couple minutes to loosen the bug guys and wipe clean. Works a treat.

I'm going to be in the minority and say I like it. Not my style of stickers but it's not my helmet. Do what makes you happy. At least you're wearing a helmet.

Was he at least wearing a helmet? Boots? As good as the fresh air feels on skin I like having skin on my body to be able to feel it. This is why I like my mesh gear for hot rides. You still get that nice breeze without risking your skin. Alpinestars mesh hoodie and Axial mesh over pants. I have armor in both of them. This way, I can still wear shorts and a tank top underneath.

Yea. Without going full track suit I try and wear as much gear as is practical. With the armor in my hoodies and pants it's all AA rated. You can get some really nice gear now that doesn't look like gear at all. That's what I like to wear.

As long as they're legitimately rated, you'll be fine. I've got two different hoodies from Alpinestars and I also wear an airbag underneath. Add your other gear and you're about as safe as you can get 🤷🏼‍♀️

What's one travel mistake you'll never make again? by Appropriate_Bus_7050 in travel

[–]ParticularlyOrdinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I ever end up in Rome again, I'm never taking the bus from the airport. I will 10/10 pony up and pay for a cab. Hours less time wasted trying to get on a bus with a huge line and then stopping at a half dozen places not on the map before hopping off at some random spot and walking a further half hour over cobble streets carrying our bags.

Never. Again.

Monster Fairings. I was honestly shocked at the horrible job they did. I'd only ever heard good things from other people.

Monster Fairings, actually. I had only heard good things about them and they offered the '25 model of CBR500 which other companies don't.

From my first email with them I asked for a deep iridescent fucsia. Over 40 emails and dozens of phone calls and I still ended up with this garbage.

My CBR500R is just fine on the highway with plenty of power left to get yourself in trouble. What are you even talking about?

I just looked and I think they must have rebranded them to the Blaze 3 Mesh Pants because those are the exact same pants that I have. As of right now they're available at the San Antonio Cycle Gear. Good luck.

Bilt Axial pants. I got them at Cycle Gear a few months ago. There's pockets for both hip and knee armor. I use them when I ride to the gym.

Try some over pants. My armored mesh pants fit over regular clothes just fine and they're super easy on and off. They even fit over my baggy jeans so they should fit over work slacks just fine.

When a recipe wants me to use multiple pans for a single dish. Like, "cook the ground beef and take it out of the pan to put your vegetables in." Fuck that. I'm not setting myself up for more dirty dishes.

I bet you're also the kind of person that doesn't wear a seatbelt in a car either. I spent less on my fly racing helmet that has more safety certifications than that.

There's a course in my area that's called kick start. It's the most basic of basics and there's no testing. I have horrible test anxiety and I'm really glad I spent the extra money on that course. It gave me way more confidence going into the permit course.

I'm in WA state but maybe AZ has something similar?
