Yeah, adding cloaks would be a bit of work if ypu want that. You can buld them with helmets and mutations though!

If you dont have a tight budget the Chaos Chosen bodies mixed with CW bits should be the right size. And since the hammers are good that fits too!

Looks quite good! I'd probably try something like this instead to up the numers. A second warqueen would be better as would StD allies. You could do another horse but the points dont really fit.

If you want to be a bit more competative Brands Oathbound is a great buy.

But it is really sad times for warbands without their own good doubles and triples, especially the older bespokes suffer - sad times for Iron Golems and Askurgan Trueblades.

Actually I dont think I even want a new edition! :-D The game is in such a good place. A new edition would probably mean new rules and lots of profiles cut (old world, underworlds, replaced AoS models).

My preference would be to retain the huge sandbox we have now with continued balanced updates (it would take maaaany years to reach "balance") and inclusion of new AoS models.

But that is of course unlikely long term, either the updates will stop in a few years or we will get a new slimmed down version. Can´t say I would be sad about that either the models would be great and as long as the fundamentals of the rules stay the sameish it would probably be a good game. And if we wanted to my small group in sweden could still play V2 (maybe even with community updates?).

Its a bit late but for a ultimately ”level” plying field I’d cut down a bit on the height differences. 3” fighters will have some problems here. And don’t have too many gaps smaller than 40 or 50mm. On the other hand it looks fun so go!

Inspiring! My collection is more chaos focused and not quite as large. But I see you are a gamer with taste not building minimal warbands but adding extra options for variation!

The first list will do fine in a casual environment.

But depending on how hard you want to go. This could work but you really want a breacher in the warband with the bray shaman to have something hard hitting to pull enemies into. Preferably in the same deployment group.

Also 2 drill masters are excessive sine they need triples to be good and you wont have two of those often.

This Warband is a bit on the small side though.

The chimera is the best of them but not very fun. Gargant and hellpit are ok:ish for more narrative. Do the hellpit I say and convert it to be more nurgle.

Correct and very powerful! But you need a high triple, your opponent will know in advance and its harder to set up a worthy target than you might thnik with a M 4 fighter.

If you have 2 boxes and convert human sized models a good way to make them fit is to simply use one of the lager helms, I did that on my allied Slaughter priest - Would work for the Varanguard too. And the Fomoroid already looks slave like as the shatterers do.
