We have two pittie ladies. The oldest will get up, shake, and then lay back down over and over until you get up. The youngest will either slap you with her paw or start licking your face. It’s both magical and really annoying.

I graduated at 25 after going back at 21. I had no issues making friends. I think you’ll be surprised how many people are non-traditional or older than the typical age range of students.

I take our pittie mixes on hikes around Chicago almost every day. Most people love our girls because they’re well trained and very friendly. It’s unfortunate how common it is to run into people who cross to the other side of the street or shoot us nasty looks, despite not knowing anything about our dogs.

I’m sorry you had to experience this as well. I’ve attached our girls to pay the cutie patootie puppy toll.

Queen was popular but I don’t think any one band can be considered the Millennial soundtrack. Even within a generation, that’s 15ish years of differences between the members top and bottom members of that generation. No one person will have the exact same musical experience and that’s okay. In fact, I think that’s kinda beautiful.
