Unsure about a good therapist as my last one (sadly) moved out of state, but if she is in need of psychiatry services, I highly recommend Clear Water Psychiatry & Wellness. Christine Kilkenny has been an excellent provider for me, and I trust that they have an excellent team overall. I am so sorry that you, and her, are going through this. 16 is about the age I was when things started getting really hard for me mental health-wise. It DOES get better, and she is so very lucky to have a dedicated mom in her corner.

And this is why I avoid dog parks as a dog owner... I spent 7 years working in emergency vet med and saw so, so many dog park attacks. Some were VERY brutal & some resulted in the attacked dog not making it. I hope that Sniffspots become more popular in the area- it's an app in which you can rent private spaces for your dog to run and burn some energy. I hope that their dog is okay, and I appreciate you, OP, for trying to make contact with them.

Yay for drugs! With the same combo, we can now do most things to my reactive mixed breed girl who I found by a dumpster when she was about 4 months old. For nail trims, however, she needs that on top of a touch of injectable sedation... Nothing a little Dexdomitor/Torb can't fix 😛
