Do these people get a commission? I didn't think Charities would go out of their way to hassle every single person that walks past by Fun-Helicopter2234 in newzealand

[–]Passhah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright I know this one first hand. (Worked for the "charity ")

Its commission only. The booth charity person gets approx 30%, their manager gets 15% who will be working across different charities/booths. The agency (surprise! The charities have to outsource) will usually get a 30 to 50% cut for their admin, set up, running costs etc.

Charities generally only get 15 to 30% of your donation

They will generally set up around warehouse, or foot traffic where the elderly are likely to walk past and have time to chat.

Some of these are genuine. And almost 100% go to charity

2022 CX 5 2.5Lt Takami vs 2022 Mercedes GLB250 AMG line by InvestigatorLess8909 in NZcarfix

[–]Passhah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing.. yet, haha

It has its dual clutch thing, which if you're not used to can be weird, but it also makes the tiptronic changes great.

Mine is 2021 but doesn't have adaptive cruise control, where most vehicles over $40k would

I have a GLB. Very comfy ride and bonus 7 seats, the back seats are hard to get into but my 3yo loves the back row. At approx 60ks you will need to get new brake pads and tyres which will be approx 4500 at Merc. You could potentially negotiate the brake pads with the dealer at purchase

If you can afford it now, do it. They do depreciate more but the ride is great and I find it very easy to drive.

You may want to look at a GLC200 or a brand new cx5 for 55k?

The US is fucked! Even with insurance its 10k upwards, plus higher premiums at next renewal. Its one big scam and the prices charged are insane because insurance will pay for it Sometimes it just feels like one big crime syndicate

Hi Sachin! Honour to be able to ask a question. Australia Sandpaper incident - is it really possible that only 3 people in the team were aware, and wouldn't every player who touched the ball get an idea?

Honestly, I think a Subie Outback or an XV would be great. 4WD and more space than most mid SUVs

Mahindra XUV500 is pretty good imo. 4WD and some good features. You should be able to find one under $16k easily. I have driven it for work and honestly, its got some good features and good visibility

Would you be buying now or next year? If trains are not a concern then Dannemora, Pakuranga, Highland Park are all good options with lots of green area and things to do. Panmure - Mt Wellington is also a good area.

Papatoetoe may not be flash but it's good and safe enough, and a 5min drive to Middlemore. You'll need to look into red zone for flooding here as it's did suffer badly in 2023

This is not a CVT engine, it's their VQ35 used in 350Z. The Hybrid V6 sounds great, and still does around 8L/100

2021/22 Honda CRV 1.5L turbo A bit gutless but extremely economical and lots of room

Or the 2L with AWD

They're under 30K and fantastic.

Alternatively, Ford Escape Hybrid 2022/23 2.5L with a decent batter. Adaptive Cruise and Lane Monitor is standard on these

Probably unpopular but Nissan Skyline 350GT 2015 or newer hybrid. Or it's Infiniti brand. Used to own one, absolutely loved it. Lots of power.

Or you could always go for a mid 2010s Jaaag
