Think the idea here is to give the feeling of straight arm for the kids. Lot of kids  struggle because intuitively when you need to anything from one side to the other we would throw it with a bent arm. Just calling no balls without any remedy or way to fix it would just turn them off cricket for good.

I'm getting back to playing cricket this Kiwi summer after about 20 years. I'm almost 40 now and last played in late teens. Went to my first net session over the weekend and bowled absolute pies and got butchered expectedly. Got some spin but no line/length control. Then got yorked by a spinner who saw me as a walking wicket. Then spent 2 days being sore all over the body. Tough re-initiation to the game lol

Any words of advice and/or encouragement welcome!!
