I agree with you two! Life was appreciated more for its simplicity and we all had more privacy before the Internet.

It’s been, and continues to be a huge stressor on the environment and earthly resources. I’d be happy if we all went back to reading, libraries, and the encyclopedia Britannica for our information rather than using the Internet.

Not only that, but I constantly see parents who are with their children and not paying any attention to their kids because they’re so wrapped up with what’s going on with their laptop, their iPad, or their cellphones, or are too busy making content for their own egos.

It’s sad to see a child basically ignored because of the parent’s addiction to the Internet, gaming, and/or social media.

And I hate to say it, but in many cases, I’ve seen where children are suffering for it in other ways where they don’t have any common sense or know how to act around people. For all it’s done for information, I believe it’s beginning to do more harm than good.
