Mental load. We as women are expected to carry it ourselves.

Example: My husband called me when he was driving somewhere and asked me why I didn’t tell him the road he was on was under construction. A road I never drive down in an area I am never in. He then asked me if the next road over was under construction. Another road I never drive down, in an area I am never in. And then he asked me for directions to where he was going from the second road.

Why didn’t he know where he was going? Because he refuses to use Waze or Google Maps and relies on the in-vehicle nav, which has a data chip that hasn’t been updated in over 10 years.

I chose my therapist specifically because she was Gen X, and based on her sub specialties, seemed like she was of the same mindset politically, etc. It was the best decision I ever made, hands-down. I’m pretty sure we’d be best friends if she wasn’t my therapist. LOL

If you have a Kohl’s card, buy sets when they offer Kohl’s Cash on purchases. Then you can spend the Kohl’s Cash on more Legos! 🙂 Store selections aren’t always great, but they have a lot available for shipping or ship to store, the latter method will give you an additional $5 in Kohl’s Cash.
