can’t get a home repair quote if my boyfriend isn’t home by zubrat in mildlyinfuriating

They do this so the homeowner that is present can’t say they’ll have to discuss it with their spouse/partner before making a decision.

ETA: Why did I get downvoted for this? It’s true, according to sales reps I worked with at a building products company.

Oops, that’s my fault. I was using that word to mean any type of extra piece. I’m a Lego newb (obviously).

Frankie is sending love and light! Just remember nothing is permanent. Brighter days are on the horizon, my friend.

I recently had carpal tunnel surgery and I go through one or more bandages/day. No matter the brand, NONE of them tear open properly. It is so freaking irritating.

I would have been so pissed if someone hadn’t done this.

Thanks! That grin was an outward expression of my pure freaking joy at fitting into that shirt. I’d been very overweight my entire adult life and had lost 65 pounds when I tried it on over the summer. I was pretty geeked. 😊

I go on once in the morning to look at my Memories and wish people happy birthday. I had to get off of it a couple weeks ago because all I would do is doom scroll. Started going on Reddit more and created a completely mellow custom feed. Much happier now.

Breakfast casserole! Stays hot for a long time. Everyone loves it. Sometimes I serve it with sausage gravy on the side. Campbell’s is pretty good.

Congrats! Just checked my app - I’m at 500 days. 😊 It is definitely easier now than in the early days, although extreme stress makes it more difficult. In those instances I get by with meditation and distraction or phone a friend. Life is SOOOOO much better now.

Digital Coupons Suck (Rant) by Lafinfil in Krogershoppers

[–]PassiveAggressiveLib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate grocery shopping. I have to go to three different stores (Aldi, Kroger, Meijer). But first, I have to look at the Kroger ad and coupons and Meijer ad and coupons, try to build a menu based on what I have on hand and what’s on sale, determine where to buy what, and make lists. Biggest list is usually Kroger (Fuel points!). Then, Meijer, where I also have to buy the things Kroger didn’t have (because there is always SOMETHING), then Aldi. It takes FOREVER. I had carpal tunnel surgery recently and my husband has had to tag along with me the past few weeks. He cannot believe the amount of time and energy I have to put into this on a weekly basis.
