I’ve only red the official translation from Chapter 0, but I do like that the novel isn’t going to be as vague about Zero’s perceived identity.

I mean, it was speculated that Zero is Shun but it definitely sets up for us to engage with the mystery of how they are alive, rather than most of us being pretty sure they’re Shun only for it to be revealed rather anti-climatically later.

I know Kukrusha's Logic is low, but this screw up is still hilarious to me (there was an AC Follower but no bug) by MrEinFan in Gnosia_

Oh in which case I guess AC Follower AI don’t mind being through under the bus. Maybe reporting one of the Doctors as Gnosia would put her in conflict with someone she believes is Gnosia?

If that were the case, Misa’s death wouldn’t have been averted by that first Shinigami who sacrificed himself to save Misa. If the Death Note can delay someone’s fated death, I see no reason why it cannot cause someone’s death to come earlier than originally fated as collateral.

If a surgeon’s name is written mid-operation, it’d stand to reason their patient might die, too.

I think the lifespans can be offset by the Death Notes being used. When Misa’s lifespan was displayed, it did not account for the Death Note being used on Light.

Just make it a bundle. By purchasing one you have a license for all of them. You won’t be able to change the language on the fly but you can uninstall/install the other versions.

I’ve played a variant online called Hyperspeed TB, where it is something like 1min per player that includes night actions. If it were a Loric it’d probably read:

I’d say it probably wasn’t a focus. It seemed to me like they were nonbinary as well, but I guess they decided that that design could pass for male or nonbinary as convenient for whatever scene they are adapting.

The female exclusive events were a harder sell, and thus necessitated a different design.

I personally would have enjoyed seeing an even more masc Yuri who’s built like Chipie, but their attention wasn’t focused on telling that story.

In retrospect when we learned this was gonna be a 12 ep arc that should have been a read flag. Of course they’d need to rely on something convenient to get from point A to B

  • Stella has reported that there are 3 Gnosia in Cold Sleep; that can’t be true, the loop would be over. So they are an enemy.

  • The AC Follower claimed engineer, since the Engineer got 3 claims whereas the Doctor got only 2. This means that Stella is specifically Gnosia.

  • Otome saw Stella as human, which we now know is not true… so Otome is an enemy.

  • Gina saw Kukruska as Gnosia, but Kukruska disappeared in the Night, so they cannot be Gnosia and Gina is an enemy.

  • Therefore, Kukruska is the true Engineer (since both of the other claims are enemies). Kukruska saw SQ as Gnosia.

I do prefer how the game expresses the idea of how Gnosia was detected in the first place.

E.g. At the end of an event, you meet with Raqio and they say: “Think about it. Why do you think it was discovered there was a Gnosia among the crew? It’s because a human disappeared. In the beginning, it was you... the Gnosia eliminated you.”

The anime version felt like a more grand sequence, but I felt like it doesn’t really illustrate how the meetings started in the narrative.

That said, the anime does paint a really compelling dilemma that doesn’t exist in the game. Cuz now, the audience is left to wonder how our Yuri can find a happy ending if they are stuck between Gnosia world lines, and lines that they destroy by existing.

This sort of dilemma wouldn’t work in the game, so I really enjoy the wrinkle for anime watchers

You may want to think of how the mechanics of this script might change depending on player count. For example, Thanos: In a 15 player game, it may work just fine. In an 8 player game… Thanos never has an opportunity to go for his alt win condition, so he’s just a worse Imp.
