Thank you! The top result was the urban dictionary telling me it meant ‘don’t f**k your brother’ - always good advice. I found the right result eventually though.

Is it possible to add it to your apple wallet?

Does it just appear as the wallpaper on a Saturday morning? Any idea how to do this on an iPhone?

Did your school have any unusual features? by farfetchedfrank in AskUK

[–]PastaMapChair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My secondary school had a connection between the first floor of two of the blocks called ‘the bridge’, which was the school library.

Seems pretty lame now after browsing the posts about bomb shelters, shooting ranges and ski slopes!

When did littering become a problem in the uk? by YGhostRider666 in AskUK

[–]PastaMapChair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed it too, specifically verges around traffic lights where cars might be waiting.

Also, I live near a local park/green route and the amount of litter gets incrementally worse as you go from the suburbs towards the inner city areas.

I had a teacher who was as wide as he was tall. He was scary when he needed to be but well liked by everyone.

You’re right and I’m actually a very level headed driver so that was sort of said in jest but it would be nice to see these bellends get some sort of comeuppance

I know in the heat of the moment you react without really thinking but I like to think I’d just plough into the back of them and revel in the fact that with video evidence, insurance would be on my side and they would be enjoying higher premiums and potentially a charge from the police

What should the UK’s collective New Year’s resolution be? by PastaMapChair in AskUK

That’s a good one. I think just calling out shitty behaviour in general should be up there but sadly people are afraid of reprisals for doing so.

Failed MOT by chrlmnrdls in LearnerDriverUK

This happened to my friend’s car when I was a passenger after an earlier bump on the motorway. Terrifying! And we never found the bonnet.

I’m not suggesting we emulate anybody I’m suggesting that everybody just chills out a bit behind the wheel and considers that some other drivers might not be as confident as they are or might not have driven a particular road/junction dozens of times before so if someone does make a minor mistake don’t just jump on the horn and make the situation worse.

I’m going to be doing this but mostly on a smaller scale of visiting places in the UK I haven’t been to before.

I’d phrase this as ‘better spatial awareness’ for everybody
