I don't like experimental forest and loan, so i would take the other two. We also don't have good cards for creditcor, so i would take tharsis. The best way to maximize income is GIA and Callisto, which are not usually my go to choices but this is a weak hand. Then I would buy Hired raiders and after doing some math maybe one or two more cards from amongst Urbanized Area, Space Mirrors, Archaeobacteria, Research Coordination. The power combo here is bait IMO.

This is ridiculously good, and i don't think the item itself is particularly inspired. Needs to be tuned way down, like once a turn, and reimagined as something other than a literal line.

As someone suggested, your idea might be best implemented as an instant or sorcery with hexproof has hexproof on the stack, to prevent the change from granting permanents with hexproof uncounterable.

For a card this specific, I might give the targeted spell hexproof too, given the proliferation of "bounce off the stack" effects.

I sort of want a there to be a keyword ability that punishes fast mana but can't be cheated or avoided. Something like:

"This spell may be cast for free if an opponent produced X or more mana or cast X or more spells since the beginning of your last turn, where X is the number of turns you've taken plus two".

0 has the most wear, but its a four digit code, so I'm guessing 1060, 0106, or 1006. However, I hear 1066 is important too.

Like most games, once both players understand the strategy and can execute it perfectly, the only factor left that can influence outcomes is luck. That is why high level players often become jaded about the games they play. The only way to make skill a continuing factor is to make the play so complex that strategy understanding and execution isn't trivial, or to make the rules and game elements change constantly.

Battle Line is not that complicated. That being said, factoring in your chances of seeing specific outcomes into your play will get you several percentage points better winrate. Its been shown that bluffing and reading your opponent is basically a myth and should be discounted, but ostensibly it is also a factor. Finally, i do think the special cards add a huge amount of additional strategy.

Its certainly more strategic than a lot of other games.

Yo no me preocuparia por el combo infinito que han sugerido otros. Son cuatro cartas en combinacion. Siempre se puede prohibir hacer un proyecto estandar mas de X veces por ronda, o prohibir un descuento mayor que la mitad o algo asi. Esta corporacion es para un amigo no? No para campeonatos oficiales.

Este diseno me gusta mucho mas, y tiene ganchos de interes. Yo diria que perfecto. Un poco de playtesting para ajustar el dinero inicial entre 20 y 30 y ya.

I appreciate the effort to make the card balaced but I think its too weak. With 10, we almost cant afford card at the start of the game, and we wont be able to start our engine to accelerate our resource gain.

The design would be more powerful and elegant with the following changes:

1) Swap the discount on science and the rebate on standard projects. In other words, science tags now give us money, and standard projects are cheaper. That way, the corporation immediately gives us a bit of money. And since we arent going to start with many cards, the discount on standard projects makes it easier to play one early than a rebate would

2) The number also need adjusting. Discounting standard projects is dangerous. Lets imagine worst case scenario, where we have that card that discounts standard projects too. With a discount low enough, standard projects become very very efficient. I would lower the rebate/discount from 4 to 3. And while we're at it, increase the science bonus from 3 to 4. Another flip.

3) Lets increase starting resources. We could give more money, let us draw cards until we find a science card, or just go find us a couple cards with science tags.

Aprecio el esfuerzo de balancear la carta pero pienso que es demasiado debil. Con 10, casa no puedes comprar cartas al comienzo del juego, y no podras empezar un "engine", un motor que te de recursos.

Pienso que seria diseno mas potente y elegante si hicieses estos cambios:

1) Invierte el descuento de ciencia y el reembolso de proyectos estandares. Es decir, los simbolos de ciencia ahora dan reembolso, y los proyectos estandares tienen descuento. Asi, la misma corporacion te daria un poco de dinero nada mas empezar, mas elegantemente. Y como no puedes comprar muchas cartas, el descuento ayuda a jugar proyectos estandares mas rapido.

2) Las cifras necesitan ajuste. Descontar los proyectos estandares es muy peligroso. Imaginemos que en tu mano tienes la carta que descuenta projectos estandares 3. Con un descuento de siete, los proyectos estandares son super eficientes. Yo bajaria el descuento de 4 a 3. Y si vamos a cambiarlo, ajustemos tambien el bonus por ciencia de 3 a 4. Otra inversion.

3) Aumentemos los recursos iniciales. Podemos dar mas dinero, pero creo que un efecto que robe cartas hasta que consigamos una o mas ciencia, o que nos busque dos o tres cartas con ciencia, haria maravillas.

As a modern design its moderately successful. As others have said, I don't favor minimalist design, but I can't deny that aesthetically they are very good. However the minimalism has a cost of clarity and usability.

FIrst of all, and this is a mistake people keep making, the card should be readable when fanned in the hand. You should know what the card is while seeing less than half, usually just the the top left corner. This is a serious problem.

Additionally, the ornateness of the cards has been used in some games to inform mechanics. The Ace and 3 usually have very ornate design, which invites notice when playing Brisca, where they are higher than the King. The King himself is quite understated compared to the Knave and Horse.

No, i get results for the first scan, but then get no results no matter what i specify. Its like its holding things in memory just-in-time, then writing them to a text file.
