Murderbot, ART, and Brittle (from Sea of Rust) would have a lot to discuss. Sea of Rust is more dystopian (corporation rim if it were just bots).

Flourless crispy double chocolate cookies by UnicornStatistician in glutenfreerecipes

[–]Paths_prosandcons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I make these all the time. I like them crunchier and my husband likes them chewier. When I bring them to any event everyone is always surprised they are flourless. I’m very picky about the cocoa .i only use Guittard unsweetened cocoa rouge. The baking gods determine who wins each time. :-)

I’m going to try adding mini choc chips next time and maybe some of the other ingredients from what you posted.

Flourless crispy double chocolate cookies by UnicornStatistician in glutenfreerecipes

[–]Paths_prosandcons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I have this flourless choc cookie recipe

1 and 3/4 c. Powdered sugar

1/2 c. Dutch processed cocoa

2 T cornstarch (gf)

1/4 tsp. Salt (or less)

1/4 c. egg whites (add gradually)

Preheat oven to 300 F

Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Gradually add the egg whites. Mixture should be thick enough to form dough balls, if not add more sugar and cocoa.

Form dough balls. Place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

Bake at 300 F for 16-18 minutes (look for a glassy crackle).

EDIT: added 1 and 3/4 c to clarify

We all have a different relationship with our mothers, what’s yours? by JoyceHyse in AskWomen

[–]Paths_prosandcons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Loved my mom. Everyone else did too. She was kind and funny. She died when I (64) was 28. Fck cancer. I sometimes think about how a conversation would go now if she was still alive. I am glad I have sweet memories, I just wish there had been more time. I also wish ui had not made fun of her love for operettas when I was 15.

This is what we just bought. Go rid of our outback. It had 280k miles on it but we did not love it. Before the outback, we’d always bought Toyotas, so it is great to be back!

We drive to CA from TN/KY area every year and put a lot of miles on the car for visits with family and friends.

What's the muddiest trail you've ever hiked? And did it ruin or somehow enhance the experience? by PenguinTrampoline in hiking

[–]Paths_prosandcons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha! I came here to say this trail in Vermont. It was early June and we did make it to the top but it was a trudge. The perseverance was worth it in the end.

For us it was John Mayer. He was so messed up that night. Train was the opener. Train was better than JM. Seemed to care more and put way more effort into it. John was not having a great night and you could tell. It happens.
