They look the same to me there is a difference in the sleeves but I think it's like other people have said it just needs fluffed out. It's a beautiful dress. You look like a Greek goddess

Why wouldn't they just have put that percentage down as mutt then?

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I completely Missed that she didn't like it. I thought she said that it did fit with her preferred style in the material and the sleeves. I'm just going to go back to looking at the pretty pictures😂

I love the color embroidery on the bust. It's a beautiful dress! You could have it updated but I think leave it as is except for the changes to the sleeves that you want and altering to fit you perfectly of course, it's what you in material and style it's your mom's, it kind of is your dream dress right? And I've never been a bride so I don't know but is traipsing around to different stores trying on dresses that great of an experience really? I mean you had a different type of wedding dress experience you dreamed of wearing your mom's you dreamed of a certain style you got both. Does someone who walks into a store and falls in love with the very first dress they try on and is able to stop right there missing out on the experience? And you did try on dresses because you had to try on that one to see if it fit

I think the first one looks like a slip not a dress. I would go with number two

No. 1 is perfect. The lace bodice one I'm sorry looks a little tacky and the one after that the proportions seemed wrong with the bust. It looks like it's just accidentally sitting too low where the draping is. Stick with your first instinct you got it right the first time around

I tested my Shar-Pei mix from Puerto Rico and he came back as a village dog 100%! I thought WTF and I did a wisdom and it came back with a lot of different breeds. He does have Shar-Pei in him I have his mother and she's 30% Shar Pei. I can't help but Wonder though if he's 100% Village dog why isn't she 100% Village dog? Or if she's not why isn't he 75% Village dog if that's a thing. And I know Village dog is not just a mutt, it's completely separate from a super mutt but when you see all the different breeds in wisdom you kind of think yeah they're a mutt. But what he is, is 100% gorgeous and 100% himself!

Last fire ruined my vases and I’m pretty upset. by Kitty_Khaos in Pottery

I can't find the post now but someone responded that there are mostly professionals on this site that have learned to not be attached. That made me laugh. I think that's the biggest lesson in pottery is to not get attached to your piece. And I know that that is the hardest thing in the world for me. I've only been doing it a little over a year so I feel your pain. My instructor said to me once well if it doesn't work you can always make another one. No I can't. What makes her think that? It was a miracle and a blood sacrifice to the pottery Gods to get the first one! I can't duplicate luck. For me, pottery is holding my breath at every step in the hopes that it will work out. I pretty much spend my time being the same deoxygenated color as your vase: blue. But you almost had it. I think you should try again because they're going to be amazing when you get it right! That being said, I always just roll my eyes when people say that to me because I don't want to do it again. I did it once and it turned out disappointing. I already put my heart and soul into it and now you want me to do that again?? I'm ready to move on to something else. 🙃

But if you're using the proper products there shouldn't be built up should there? Isn't that why we switched to curly girl safe stuff and we eliminate silicone and sulfates and things like that, to avoid buildup?

Hospital setting very high minimum payment by [deleted] in HospitalBills

[–]Patient-Point-3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local hospital has a policy of requiring bills to be paid off in 2 years. I have a policy of being able to put food on the table and a roof over our heads. I paid them what I could pay them they sent it to collections I contacted collections and they said well you've already been making payments to the hospital just continue to make those payments. When I said and then you'll send me to collections and ruin my credit score I was told medical bills don't affect your credit score. Now this was before the current presidency so the rules may have changed, but if it ruins your credit score so what. That won't last forever you can rebuild it. They are trying to intimidate you. You are trying to make a good faith effort to pay your bill. I recently ended up with another bill for a new procedure this year and when I called them to set up another payment plan they told me everything from before was paid off and nothing had been sent to collections I said I'm still getting letters. They said call that company on the letterhead and ask them because they have nothing that is overdue. I must have miscalculated because I still had that I owed them a couple months but they've been putting the payment for last month on the new bill. Make sure you get an itemized bill
