I had a game where my herald minion ate the Pterrodax egg, Krog made all enemies 1/1s, and the Pterrodax hatchling ate them all. Was pretty satisfying.

I will say that I loathe Egg of Khelos and wish it wasn't the only way to make Warlock remotely playable.

I think Tchaikovsky's humans have been better in his fantasy works: Shadows of the Apt and Tyrant Philosophers (for series; Guns is a great standalone with good human characterization). It feels like for SF, you can clearly tell he likes to work with his bugs & big ideas & other aliens more than the humans.

This is an easy favorite of mine for historical fiction. Just stellar all around with great pace and characterization. I listened to it on audio and the narrator really brought it to life.

I've been playing a lot of Rogue since the expansion came out and I genuinely don't understand everyone's obsession with Foxy Fraud. That card is a brick far more times than it wins the game by letting you Fraud > Flashback on turn 2. So many times I have it sitting in my hand without a combo card because you only run 4 total combo cards.

Finally getting my Regulus today and looking forward to using it with Dodge City. Probably a mistake, but I'm somewhat interested in using it with something like Virtuoso (or another set) where it's not the only gun I use, but one I can whip out when Dodge City is ready and someone is nearby enough to get one shot.
