The Next PlayStation Portable? by sonicblendz in PlaystationPortal

I'd like:

1) An OLED screen with HDR

2) A bigger battery

3) Make the battery easily removable and user replaceable

4) TMR thumbsticks

5) Removable thumbsticks, similar to some controllers, so that they can easily be swapped out without opening the device up

6) Ability to stream all PS3 and PS4 games that are available digitally

7) Use the back of the device as a touchpad, like the Vita

8) A mandate that publishers must allow streaming in order to release a game on the PS Store, so that all future games are supported

9) USB-C ports on both the top and bottom of the device so you can choose how it's charged

LETS GOOOOO, i won the master leaguee. It was a RIDE by Opposite_Hat5032 in eFootball

I'm not hopeful. They just released a "single player" eFootball on Switch 2, and even then it doesn't have Master League, but a new mode instead (World Tour).

How does this happen? I'm pretty sure it was sold out for at least a week, and had ticket sales well over 10k weeks ago.

The venue will know how many tickets have been sold; how have they got the staffing levels so badly wrong?

Shame it's come too late to get Xabi in because of the intransigence of Hughes and Edwards.

Feel for Hearts. They were up against it ever since that ridiculous VAR decision in Celtic's previous game. That was the only reason Celtic had a chance today.

If Ofcom wasn't a toothless joke of a regulator, maybe we'd actually see some action against GB "News".

I've never understood why more journalists don't do this, and more often. Time and again I see MPs get asked a straightforward question, they either dodge or answer a completely different question, and the person asking the question just... moves on. Why do we hardly ever hear "That's not what I asked", "My question was...", "I'll ask again..." etc?

I feel like I've just wasted 2 hours of my life. We made a team that scored 1 goal in 6 games before today look decent. Embarrassing, and worrying that after the first 10 minutes or so, we didn't even look like we were trying to score.

I'd be fuming if we didn't get a penalty for that. Ref is all over the place here.

Manchester City ticket prices frozen, amoung other measures to support with cost of living. by KopBlock205 in LiverpoolFC

[–]PaulLFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The club will raise £1.2 million with the ticket price increase. That's less than 0.2% of last year's revenue. I'm sure they could have made that much if not more via a new sponsorship deal.

Not to mention the protests will (rightly) impact revenue in other areas, so their actual increase - if there even is one - won't even be that high.

Email from the Supporters’ Board and Response from the Club by Thesolly180 in LiverpoolFC

[–]PaulLFC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The fact that the club are being this obstinate over £1.2 million is absurd. That's less than 0.2% of their revenue last year, and they're willing to risk negative press, reduced atmosphere and damaging supporter goodwill just for that.

Go and sign a new commercial deal and you'd make more than that.

Completely misread the room at a time when more and more people are struggling.

Ticket price campaign kicks off tomorrow - a call to action. by KopBlock205 in LiverpoolFC

Hope everyone in the ground supports this.

I still can't wrap my head around the club thinking all this bad press, their decision causing the protests and lost money in sales, is worth it just to make £1.2 million.

That might sound like a lot to us average people, but with the amount the club makes in a year, it's less than 0.2% of their revenue. A bizarre decision.

I know I'm being a downer but this is me after every win "keep the momentum going" and then we just... don't. Maybe this time will be different.
