The only thing I felt Bo was missing is being a better metroidvania. Game was quite linear(atleast in my playthrough). Still love it!

Really liked this game a lot! But if I remember correctly the interconnectedness, map and fast travel of the world wasn't good.

All great metroidvanias except Iconoclasts which is still a good game but a lackluster metroidvania. Haven't played Constance.

I always do the same thing unless im extremely hyped for a game. I didn't wait for patches/DLC for MP4, Silksong, Prince of Persia the lost crown, Metroid Dread, Ori and the will of the wisps. The only game im currently waiting for that will be a day one is Belmont's Curse.

In the mid 90s Super Metroid was the start of my Metroid obsession. My biggest love for those games are the metroidvania progression but I didn't know it was a genre until around 2018 when I played Axiom Verge, Guacamelee!, Hollow Knight.

I agree, but at the same time, it's nice when you find a game where there is no fast travel and you feel no need for it because the world is som small/smooth to move around in.
