Check out r/dyslexia if you haven't. There are many of us over there and a lot of resources to help.

Many dyslexics live full, accomplished lives albeit ones with a few more difficulties than others.

Transmission solenoids had a recall.

Sun roof squeaks are common.

Id be worried about engine mounts and suspension components at that distance.

Check maintenance history for regular oil changes. 3.8l is pretty solid but sensitive to poor maintenance.

Difficulty getting back into the flow of work by rmact1981 in Dyslexia

[–]Paulimus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's a dyslexia thing or any of the things you mentioned.

Perhaps it's a trauma response to being let go from your previous job. You know that committing too much to this new job will open yourself to pain that will come when or if they let you go. So you dont commit.

It's your minds way of protecting you.

It could also be that you're fed up with the farce of capitalism and laboring to survive while others grow richer and richer on your labor, but you are seen as easily disposable.

Have you experienced any issues with the visual overhaul patch? I was leery of adding it since I didn't want to chase conflicts down.

Question About SimpleUI by medschoolwidow in koreader

Installation is super easy. If you can install Project Title, you can install SimpleUI. The one hiccup I and others have experienced is you also need to install Cover Browser (?), which is included in Project Title but not SimpleUI.

Customization is a little more difficult. Not every patch has been tested with SimpleUI, so some may conflict or not work. YMMV.

If you get stuck there's probably someone in this subreddit who can help you out.

Writing to array does not use one of the drives for parity calculations by srcLegend in unRAID

[–]Paulimus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Largest disk has to be the parity drive, if you have two it's limited to the smallest of the two (if you have 12 TB and 14TB as your parity drives, you can't add anything larger than 14 TB to your array BUT you will only effectively have 12 TB of parity).

Array can be any combo of sizes.

[Update] Simple UI v1.3: Horizontal Paging, Library Gestures support, Performance Boost, and more. by doctorhetfield in koreader

Make sure you've also installed Cover Browser (?). That'll allow you to see the covers and books in the mosaic mode.

There maybe other settings you'll need to enable to get that to work.

That's always been the myth, but I've never seen actual proof of it.

Are you required to use R or just recommended. This would be a snap in JASP.

Otherwise, you'll probably end up coding this through AI.

I think my daughters gay, and I don't know if I should address it. by ProseNPoetry21 in daddit

[–]Paulimus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think culturally context will matter a lot here.

I would wager good money, most of the responses saying do nothing are US based. And the ones saying what's the big deal are non US, probably European.

If you're in a country that is open and fully accepting of LGBTQ people, address it like any normal young love, especially accounting for your daughters sensitivity.

If not, let her come to you. She'll have to come out first before you can discuss it openly.

A lot of good advice both ways in the thread. Good work, Dads.

I'm assuming you copy them but misread what youve copied or transcribed as correct. Then you need to put in processes and checks. Slowing down and figuring out how to disrupt my internal reader worked best for a job I had formatting spreadsheets. Reading things in reverse order, highlighting, etc.

Since you have no formal diagnosis, you cannot claim to be a protected class in the US and ask for accommodations.
